So much of the time, people will say "so and so sounds just as good as they did 20+ years ago" and they're really exaggerating but he genuinely sounds just as good. He must have taken really good care of his voice over the years.
I know everyone always says crap like "music used to be so good back when in the day..." but you know what? It is sometimes true, dang it! I can't tell you how much I miss the 90's and early 00's where musicians and bands would do "unplugged" sets all of the time just like this. Just raw music being played live, and vocals performed live, no bullshit. No auto-tune, no post-production fuckery. Just....music!

Crazy story during The Corrs JKT2023 concert, when the promoter played this song for entertainment while waiting for The Corrs to take the stage. The crowd enthusiastically sang along to this song, which means this song is a freaking legend 😂

Great performance and voice. I still remember when JH used to work on a Disney Ship as part of the entertainment staff. I was lucky to hear her wonderful voice many times as i was working there also

I have loved Seal since his 1st album/cd (Seal 1) back in the summer of '92. I'll never forget, I was at a VA Beach record store on vacation & I saw his CD on display in the front of the store (he had the dreads and cool outfit on the cover). I was just staring and I was like I don't know who this is but I'm loving the cover and he looks so cool, I'm buying this. Meanwhile, some really good music was playing in the store that I liked so much that I had to ask the store employee "who is that playing?". She directed me to that Seal CD I was just staring at. Of course I immediately bought the cassette to listen to on my walkman the next day on the beach. That day I listened with my earphones to Seal all day long with the ocean surf sound in the background. It was like paradise! I have seen him in concert several times since then. Those concerts were mesmerizing - he sounded soooo good live! Yes, Seal is one of a kind!

No theme song in Batman or any other superhero film comes close to Kiss From a Rose... not sure whether it's that the film came out at the right time for my liking or if this song is the reason Forever is my favorite Batman film... Precious and Priceless Times...
This guys voice is, and has always been, smooth as velvet. I swear, everytime he sings time around me stands still, and all I can focus on is his performance. Incredible artist, and an incredible person as well.
