The land could have been used for a much smaller community, and not one modeled after Stapleton. It is so sad to see. This kind of suburban blight doesn't belong in the foothills. 20 minutes to downtown? Try 45+ minutes. With such small lots and large houses, fences would look ridiculous and inhibit the wildlife corridor. When there are 12,000 homes see if you still have your view. And most of the 'open space' they reserved is on the periphery and under power lines. So sad to see this irresponsible growth.
I live in this area. I drive my kids to school- and there are busses that pick up our kids and take them home. Transportation isn’t an issue. It’s only 6 min to Highlands Ranch
Awesome breakdown! I live in Sterling Ranch, near the Roxborough end, and I agree with all the pros and cons.
Thank you so much!! What a small world- really appreciate you watching :)

With population growth there is always urban sprawl. For some the answer is living in the mountains. :)
It may be in a nice school district, but there is, as yet, no plan to build a school in the community. Be ready to bus your kids.

Thank you so much for the insights! Once Joe has kids he will be in all the know for this :)@@maryjanesmith8109
What we have seen is many communities build the homes then add the schools. Thank you for adding context and thank you for watching :) @barry28907
