- European Union Commission President Ursula von der Leyen says a blast that killed hundreds at a hospital in Gaza was a "senseless tragedy," and "those responsible must be held accountable." She made the comments during a European Parliament plenary debate in Strasbourg. Israel and Hamas have blamed each other for the deadly incident.

It is enforced, there's a couple forms of international law, and often times, it's up to the country to enforce international law. There's actually several courts that have been set up to adjudicate international law. For example, the International Court of Justice or ICJ which enforces treaties such as land and trade.
It only works if their is a threat is war. They have already got war, so the "gloves are off".

Going to Maui too early would've just caused trouble. This is often the case with these disasters, but especially Maui. It's a very small island with limited resources. Diverting them to accommodate a President, or other unnecessary politicians, is wasteful and counterproductive. Better to just authorize the needed aide and help clear the bureaucratic hurdles for those on the ground.

US warships with their phased array radar can detect and trace the entire airspace above Gaza up to very small satellites so they surely have a complete record of any aircraft and their bomb/missile deployments that may have caused the hospital casualties. There are dozens of US ships that can therefore support or contradict the Iron Dome radar and the other numerous air and ground tracking radars of the Israelis.
Just like the US and NATO have hundreds of satellites over Europe and they said it was Russia that destroyed Nord Stream 2, Then changed to a Ukrainian Yacht. They have the technology but do you think they will say, Yes it was Israel, I don't think so.

Further investigation took place. It was fired from with in Gaza. Say what you will, but one thing Israeli's are not, is stupid. Why would they fire a missile at a hospital with the world watching?
