    Maybe try minitrains 009 .
They have some open coach builds and some coal wagon and slate wagons ones too
They involve no fiddly parts . Just couplers and paint as they come with metal wheels pre installed .

Might have been a good idea to paint the pieces before putting it together to get a better looking model

very right in some cases, however since this was filmed all these models have been weathered to give them a more realistic and used look. cheers

Same! I wonder if the 00 gauge engine’s wheels will move on the narrow gauge track so I can re create the blue mountain mystery scene where Luke saves Thomas and maybe record it

Hi Kev. Thank you. Not the best paint job but they definitely look good behind the locomotives. It was a really enjoyable experience trying something a bit different. Cheers

They look super cute Aidan. I bet Katie was delighted with then 😊
Funny you should be working on n Gauge, as I’ve just bought, well half bought, a landscaped fully wired 4’x2’ n gauge layout off of another modeller here in Dublin. Comes with a 0-6-0 loco and some wagons as well.
Trouble is, with the lockdown , I have no way of collecting it for the minute as he’s on the very far side of the city, and we have very restricted movement here at the moment.
Very frustrating to say the least.
Be interesting to have 00 and n gauge layouts eventually.
Anyway...keep up the great work and stay safe 👍👍

Hi Rob. I love working with multiple scales. So much variation. Sadly this lockdown has caused so many obstacles that we all have to work around. I’m so glad that many suppliers are still operating online and keeping us all stocked up with items to keep us busy

Aidans Railways Oh for sure Aidan. My Gaugemaster Combi arrived in the post today. So I’m hoping to use it on the n Gauge layout when I get it.
Actually, despite what I’d seen in reviews, it did come with a length of cable to connect to the track. I’d ordered some anyway..but I’m sure I’ll put that to good use when I get my 00 gauge set up properly eventually 😊
