I cannot wait to get to my climber on a crisp 35 degree morning, listening to the birds and squirrels waking up. Then hearing the footsteps of a deer slowly coming out of the thicket. You can’t beat that. Which I mostly just see squirrels but that’s ok lol
Grant, if I am hoping to broadcast seed but can’t use fire, how can I clear the ground for planting. I tried to broadcast through thatch last year and got mediocre results. I have ATV but no drill.
The duff can be raked out of the way or be sure and broadcast just before a rain of 1/2" or more! Rain helps the seeds germinate and make contact with the soil.
Will you explain a little more about how it's easier to pattern deer before pre rut. Are bucks still in groups or have they already broken up? Also I'm assuming they've already made the switch to high carb diet by then like you mentioned? Thanks!
Davis - before the pre rut bucks start the pre rut they usually on a food cover pattern. It's often best to hunt close to cover, without alerting deer, so bucks arrive where you are hunting before dark.
Look for opportunities to serve others. Love God by loving people. Hard to do sometimes.

Love your content, Mr. Woods. You are a scholar and a gentleman. God bless you.
Excellent video, as always Grant 👍🦌
I work for a tree service and the white oaks I've taken down in Georgia are loaded

Spray glyphosate and 2 4 d in april/may then just gly 4 weeks later and then gly again when you plant your seed if needed
I've used a leaf blower to get clean dirt or a rake
Not as good as burning but had decent results

What’s a good blend to plant right now in northern Tennessee?
Jay - if there's rain in the forecast at your place then Green Cover's Fall Release blend will work well!
Can a scrape be real close to a corn feeder?? Due to using the same camera for one spot
Sure it can!
Thanks
