Romney Sands Level Crossing

Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway steam loco No.7 "Typhoon" in Malachite green heads towards Dungeness before Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway steam loco No.9 "Winston Churchill" in red leaves Romney Sands station and heads towards New Romney. This was the last AOCL on the RH&DR but has had barriers added since the middle of 2017. The former AOCL was dangerous, narrow and confusing with all the lights on one side of the rails. You can see the old crossing on my channel. Now the lights are where they should be, the ugly narrow borders have gone, and barriers have appeared. The crossing is also wider, but further road altering could make the entrance to the holiday park here better, as there were cars that were causing some chaos trying to park and pick up their crap caravans-motorhome things. The pedestrian crossings and footpath next to the road have also been changed, and now there is a way to walk right past the closed crossing. At least the new road signs here aren't just stickers put over an existing sign as if a three year old did it.

Congrats on 1k subscribers! Love that the new signals also still use halogens! Is the RH&DR all halogen as well? Also, with how quiet those alarms are, I'm not sure how much better they are than how the old one was without any alarms!

The yodel alarms are very directional and focused so they don't cause annoyance to people staying nearby.
