I'm from San Diego and I wish more locals chimed in on where you should go ... I feel like you hit all the spots someone visiting would go to not the real food of SD ( except Bowlegged BBQ that's the hood spot for BBQ )

It's kind of like women, the most beautiful definitely does not always translate into the best
Been here my whole life. Sometimes I go to the beach to ride my bike along the path, or for some body surfing, or just to look at the beautiful women. Sometimes I go to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl, or the Greek Theatre, or the Fabulous Forum. Sometimes I go see live sports at a Dodgers game, a USC Trojans game or an LAFC soccer game. Sometimes I go hiking up in the Baldwin Hills or the Santa Monica Mountains. But whatever I'm doing here in SoCal, I'm loving the beautiful people with our diversity of cultures, and ethnicities, and our acceptance of people no matter what their beliefs or sexual preference. "I Love LA."

@LATRYGUY12_on_te_leg_ram if you’re still in Daygo or ever come back. Try out Grubz takeout. A lil hood spot hole in the wall. Their stuff is 💣. Point Loma Seafood is 💣 gets really busy so earlier the better. Try out Arrivaderci for Italian. Can’t go wrong with that spot for real Italian food. Believe me paisan 👍🤙

Thank you bro and cuzzo for all you do. Next time in San Diego try Smack’n Guamanian Grill. It’s food from Guam and guaranteed you won’t be disappointed. Red rice, Great BBQ, Chicken Kelaguen, Shrimp Patties, Finadene which is a sauce that goes on all the food. For Dessert try Latiya which is a pound cake with custard on top and sprinkled with cinnamon. Hope this get to you. Thanks again for all you and cuzzo do for us and our hungry eyes.

If you want some “I met God today” kind of dessert, you MUST try Extraordinary Banana Pudding in La Mesa. It’s closer to east county San Diego. The owner is an amazing dude and you will NOT regret making a second trip back down!!!!

Dude... For dessert spots you gotta try Mommie Helen's Bakery in San Bernardino. Sweet potato pie, peach cobbler, banana pudding, pecan pie off the chain..!! It's a long trip from LA but it's worth the drive! People have literally fought in the parking lot over those sweet potato pies..! Fo real!

Spent the summer in SD a year ago had some great food on that block.
It looks like kraft macaroni and cheese, plus not everyone eats pork, especially on their Mac and cheese

Should have stayed in downtown SD and went to extraordinary desserts over VG Donuts.
Lived in SD my whole life (38 years) and Hodads is the only place you went that’s worth it, and that’s not saying a lot. They are great but there are tons of places that need attention. North San Diego along the beach is whack unless you wanna surf.
Hoboken in Pacific Beach/pizza
Lourdes in Escondido/chicken soup
You missed Old Town completely for Mexican food

Best breakfast spot in SD?
You got to come out here to Temecula my boy try 1909 Temecula in old Town also goat and vine they have this carne asada Pizza, you got Mo's egg house, It's a place by the mall called bugers and beer(good bugers). In Murrieta you have one of the best breakfast spots called Toast, you got Memphis wings Destination Smokehouse now there in Hemet but they supposed to be opening up their second location in Murrieta, when it comes to desserts I would say sweet red Peach but you already know about that cuz the location in Inglewood. She got a second location on hear Menifee and then as you're going back to LA you can stop in Corona at this fish market called Chef to the Bone great fish and when it comes down to their collard greens all I can say is OMG!!
