I wish Aston Martin would use the design language of this and Victor in their main product line. It’s like a modern interpretation of the Vantage’s from the 70’s and 80’s which I love. Like a classy muscle car. Edit: I also wish they put two more circular headlights in each corner of the grill. And the ride height needs sorted.
@@BookerCan But the same could be said for the 70’s/80’s V8 Vantage but nobody back then was complaining that it looked like a Mustang. The reason being at the end of the day, it drove better, had a better interior and looked better. If Aston can make a more beautiful “Mustang” that drives well with a quality interior I certainly wouldn’t be complaining.

Awesome looks , design and nostalgia. This is how to build a dream old school car with a modern twist. Love the way Aston remembers its heritage and still looks to the future
To me, the Aston brand has always been about experience and luxury before absolute performance. I like that they realized that a bespoke manual in a beautiful body can be like a mechanical watch in a world of apple watches...
Wow so happy they did this, cause it was frustrating that such an amazing car like Victor was one-off! OK, it doesn't look as insane as Victor, but still awesome and for me way more interesting than Vantage or DB12 🤷♂ just love this modern retro styling, looks so cool! 🥰

I love this retro vintage look. I've been waiting for car manufacturers to dive into this aesthetic for so long. With Hyundai's N Vision 74 hitting the mark of what that concept could look like, I'm beyond surprised and pleased that Aston Martin has also joined in!
It appears we've come full circle and now Aston Martin is now trying to make a Mustang. In a world of dual clutch transmissions and electric torque... etc The Mustang still retains that one special thing that made driving special in the first place. Shoutout to AM for making this and recognizing what motor enthusiasts really want.
Just Wow! There's so much to like about this car. Congratulations to the design team. If I had a spare $1 million I might take this over the Bentley Bacalar.
Ford did own Aston Martin between 91-07 so I wouldn't be surprised if they took some liberties on the styling and made it look like a fancier Mustang. I mean look at the Fusion's front end does it not remind you of a DB9.
WOW..!!!😍😍😍 That is my favorite Aston Martin. Love the design and is better looking then The Victor. …It is just so BEAUTIFUL🤩🤩🤩 VERY VERY NICE JOB🤤🤤🤤 Can not wait to see it in person…
WOW!! I thought I'd be the first to say it? My instant thought was 🤔Hmmm... Mustang ish? But... I've sat in an Aston years ago. It was literally "NOT a Ford" it was all luxury and sexy and just dripping with excess, that even your most expensive mustang just could never achieve. And all that was before the owner started it! This car definitely has V8 Vantage heritage.
Aston Martin has become quite the visionary/art of manufacture. Such nice conversations through the video. Very natural and informative. Apart from the dynamics achieved for the car, the interior is stellar for me! Even the info screen is such an improvement and not overpowering in size like so many cars. I wonder if customers would like the screen setup for earlier models as a bespoke fit ent by Aston works etc. Looking forward to the 'on the road' videos. Thanks JWW! 🏁
Ps absolutely looks nothing like a mustang! Those that think so must be blind to the details and functionality of the details, the size and shape of the turret etc etc
Yeah we've been saying that manual V12s are the end of an era for 10 years now ...I remember Clarkson saying that about the Vantage V12 back in 2012!!!
A blue oval ford badge wouldn't look out of place on the nose of this car with a galloping mustang badge on the back. Fit a V6 duratec and add some hybrid electric gubbings it would sell by the bucket load.

Definitely a Mustang

Way too close to a mustang in silhouette. I disagree. I love those special editions, but don't use it to the main product line.

It is not always about to shift so god damn fast, but like here, the pure joy and mechanical feel of a manual.
All it's missing is some armor and Crystal Dome tech and it would literally be a car straight from Cyberpunk 2077, beautiful design!
