You’re right about signals bouncing. Eddy currents is how a metal detector works. The detector transmits an electromagnetic pulse. Metal turns that into an eddy current. It does it as an eddy current pulse “ electromagnetic pulse “. That’s what the detector receives as a signal. This is where it gets crazy. If you have high amounts of minerals or another metal object, it picks up the eddy current pulse that’s at a different frequency than the metal detector. The other metal objects pick it up and sends another frequency pulse. And that bounces off rocks and other stuff. It’s a real testament to the skill of those who make metal detectors and the skill it takes to use one.

You're absolutely right! It's a challenging game, but that’s what makes it fun!
awesome video! equinox 800 vs deus 2 why do you like one over the other?
The Nox 800 was a good performer but the build quality was abhorrent.
