I vividly remember all of this including the intro to this channel and the thumbnail for this song when I was 11 yrs old and I’m now 21 about to be 22 soon. This is wild. I heard this song today in the longest time and broke down in tears... there’s just something about listening to this song when you don’t have a single person there for you.
She ran through the dark streets, the rain torrential on her covered body. 'They won't stop,' she was warned, 'until they have you'. So she ran. Once the act was done, she ran and ran and ran as fast and as far as her legs could carry her. The soldiers, whom she knew were servants to their enemy, his nemesis, pursued without hesitation. They were not human, like her. They did not have a concept of rest or exhaustion. She would be hunted until her death or this universe's. But she had a plan. She reached the bridge, which was closed down and blocked off already. Even she couldn't clear it in time. She turned to face her pursuers, their ashen grey faces staring at her with steel eyes, their guns trained on her, not to kill, but to capture. They needed her. A specimen like her was invaluable for those like them. She played the game, followed the rules. But the rules were rigged, the game was a fraud. There was only ever one outcome in this game: Her defeat. But she did not fall in love with a player of games. She reached into her pocket, removing her final salvation and the key to defeating their enemy. A single fragmentation grenade. She felt the fear coursing in her system, and she could see the apprehension on the ashen faces of her enemies. She was scared; who wouldn't be scared, when faced with the prospect of ending their own existence? She was told that this was the only way out, the surest way to win, that it would all be OK. But the man who told her had also warned her never to trust him, under any circumstances. Did that include these circumstances? Deciding in an instant as the soldiers began stepping forward, feeling confident now that she was bluffing, she yanked the pin out from the grenade. As their steel eyes shot open, one of the soldiers asked out to her, speaking with its master's voice. "WHY DO YOU OBEY HIM. WHY HIM AND NOT ME." She wanted to smile, like she imagined he would, but she couldn't manage it. She wasn't him, she didn't have his age, his quantum powers, his immortality. Even now, even when everything was left to him, when she had to trust him now more than anybody ever had to trust anything else ever before, she couldn't muster the kind of confidence he'd have. But she had picked up a thing or two about his wordsmithing. "Because I'm not like you," she said. "I still have a soul." And then the world erupted in fire and fragmentation.
Lying on my bed looking at old pics of myself when i was 18 years old and full of hope and a big glow on my face. Now 5 years later,2 mind breaking quarantines, a lot of family deaths and even more lost friendships, i finally feel what this song was always trying to tell me, our youth is slowly running out. Cheers everyone, i wish you never grow old
This song has just put into words what I've been struggling to say for weeks.. after months of listening to this song I now know why it has played in my mind so many times. Some may not understand. But this song has such beauty when put with that picture.
this master piece randomly appears on my yt home page after 10 years... and i dont even know who to thanks, because i didnt search for it... this was one of my main songs back in 2015
In 2014, Adventure Club came to my home city during the Safe in Sound music festival. At the time, this was my favorite song. I didn't think they were going to play it since it wasn't an original, but they did, and ohhh myyy godddd. I will never forget that moment. Literally to this day, that is the peak of any concert I've ever been to.
Hollywood??? I saw them at safe n sound my first time in 2014 at the palladium and they dropped this track. Fell in love, it was my first time hearing it.
I remember doing night shift in my first office and listening to this song at 3,4am. When all lights were dimmed, only the desktop screen and AC running, and me, work and this song ! SO many things changed since then, but the emotions and feel just comes again on hearing it!
This is the first time I've come across this song, and I've been listening to songs like these (MT Eden, dubstep, chill out etc) for 10 years from around MW2 era, good old nostalgic days. I can't believe I've not come across this before, because for sure I would be extremely nostalgic towards this had I heard it back in the good old days like with MT Eden - Still Alive or Sierra Leone or When Will The Storm Begin etc.
@@lukkas913 Woah thanks for replying man, because I had forgotten the name of this song and had trouble finding it until I just saw your reply. For me the entire year of 2009 is extremely nostalgic and gives me serious chills whenever I think about it. It was my first year of online gaming and I have so many memories of coming back from school and playing Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and MW2 all day online. Playstation Home used to be super fun too, and it was also when I got into UFC for the first time. The year of 2009 will always have a special place in my heart.
Those LAN parties and that long walk from school when your buddies were waiting...and the music was just so darn good. I can't find anything better nowadays. And the nostalgia kills me every time... Glad you had fun, nostalgic memories and many more to come!

bro i see you in the comments of every video haha
I heard this song today in the longest time and broke down in tears... there’s just something about listening to this song when you don’t have a single person there for you.
This song is nostalgia man, and the art choice is mwuah 🤌. Thanks for the memories Sheepy. And thanks for brining us good music till this very day✌
She ran through the dark streets, the rain torrential on her covered body.
WHY HIM AND NOT ME."
She wanted to smile, like she imagined he would, but she couldn't manage it.
"I still have a soul."
And then the world erupted in fire and fragmentation.
You should become a writer. Awesome description.

Cheers everyone, i wish you never grow old
Adventure Club just can't make a bad remix :D

This song has just put into words what I've been struggling to say for weeks.. after months of listening to this song I now know why it has played in my mind so many times. Some may not understand. But this song has such beauty when put with that picture.
This picture looks like it was made for this song. Well picked
+ImmStorm #themothershouldhavebeenshotinstead #prayforharambe
Juno Sibeijn why? Can you explain me i don't really understand the sense of the song :c
Because the beat you hear at 1:21 is the explosion of her grenade.

So jealous haha
Hollywood??? I saw them at safe n sound my first time in 2014 at the palladium and they dropped this track. Fell in love, it was my first time hearing it.

“Classic Dubstep” best oxymoron of 2017...?
Great song though.
A decade on and this is still as fantastic as when it first came out. Wonderful!
It's a banger.
I remember doing night shift in my first office and listening to this song at 3,4am. When all lights were dimmed, only the desktop screen and AC running, and me, work and this song ! SO many things changed since then, but the emotions and feel just comes again on hearing it!

HypeMotion Intro Maker and More hi

physcopigXD holy yes.
You hit me right in the childhood when I read "MW2 era". What a gem that game was, never forget 🤙🏼
Yeah dude those moments were golden and that nostalgia will last forever...I still get chills years later
@@kevinstraub641 I know I’m replying a year late but hopefully they will bring out the MW2 remastered multiplayer soon, they have to.
Those LAN parties and that long walk from school when your buddies were waiting...and the music was just so darn good. I can't find anything better nowadays. And the nostalgia kills me every time...
Glad you had fun, nostalgic memories and many more to come!
I'm just scrolling through all the comments and that all i see is amazing people telling nostalgic memories. I'm glad this comment section didn't turn into what it most comment sections are nowadays. Respect to this song and it's fans

I was 14 when i heard this song, now i'm 20 and here again feeling like i'm going to cry.
Yeah dude, imagine being 23 and being carefree. Just hit 28 and I feel like life is over. Live it the best you can, embrace it. Before you realize, all those years have gone.
@@ellacart275 turning 27 in May and I feel you on this. I also feel like there's so much I still need to accomplish. It's all inaccurate and fake though. We are here for such a short amount of time, living our lives-- the only objective is to enjoy it regardless of our age, and to help others do the same.

"These fading beats [...] A thousand dreams"
Even after 9 years, the feeling remains the same listening to this masterpiece...
Not advising the lil youngins to get into weed at such a young age, but the first I got really high my friend put this song on in his car, and Ohhh Myyyy... I was literally transported to another universe. Still to this day one of the most psychedelic experiences I’ve ever had. Peace out my dudes. Thanks for the great memories :))
Lil boosie indacut Tryna get a nut that first drop just takes you!!!!!!
Actually used to play this song back freshman year of college when I’d go to my smoke spot in the woods by my dorm. Such an awesome song then and now and hearing the beginning come on once I was high... epic :)
