I found this song when it came out, nearly 10 years later this reminds me that I'm still young and that the end of childhood is not the end of youth. Someone said "Don't tell me our youth is running out, it's only just begun". That's nice to hear when you're about to be 18, well as someone who is now 18 I've been feeling so out of sorts thinking about this new stage of my life. This song really helps reconnect the dots
Came back just to hear it after so long. Enjoy your time, it's time to take shots and not care if they don't hit/score because the game is much longer than the first minute you are in for.

This song came out when I was 11. I’m 22 now. I wasted my teenage years staying inside and playing video games most of the time. During high school I didn’t really socialize with anyone and didn’t get a girlfriend like how most guys in high school do. I was just the drifter. Now I’m in my last year in college and I’m trying my best not to repeat high school. Time really is the greatest and only gift that matters because we’ll never get it back. It took all of my teenagers years and Covid for me to finally start doing something with my life. Your 20s are supposed to be the prime or best years of anyone’s life according to most people (ik that’s an unofficial statement. But most people always say how they spent their 20s having fun and building their career). I really want to look back one day and feel satisfied with how I lived. And I for sure will. I go to the gym now, eat healthy most days, feel more comfortable socializing, and picked up new and better hobbies. I still play video games because I just love gaming. But I only play on my spare time now.

Dominic Peterson I think comparing this song to the remix is like comparing apples to oranges. Mainly because the Adventure Club remix used only the vocals from the original. And, even then the vocals were chopped and edited. Everything else in their remix was unique and organic from the original.
