Thanks! I’m trying my first Cornish Cross right now. I’ve been raising Freedom Rangers, Kosher Kings and Sasso Chickens. So far my Cornish have done really well considering they hatched at a big transition from Summer to Fall. I like them! They are not active like the other breeds, but they seem very bright and happy. It’s going to be an interesting comparison. I believe my line is the Ross 308/708. Great video!

I dont have the heart to eat my birds. My neighbors free ranging Cornish cross adopted us and wouldnt leave 😂. The night she jumped off my garden tractor to try to break into my kitchen window she won me over 😊. The neighbor said keep her. She lived longer than most of her breed...roughly a year and a half. She was my constant companion, better behaved than any dog i ever had 😂. That free bird wasnt free! Chicken run, accessories, more birds to keep her company. I watched her food, tried to keep her healthy. She was a big girl! Talk about a crap machine! Really messy! More entertaining than other birds ive owned. She would take mice from the cat. Cat was surprised at first. It eventually became their thing. I guess you can tell by the way im going on that Chickuun was a great pet! Ill eat store chicken, not my babies 😮
