Just to touch on a common trend in comments, at the end of the video I do mention that game sense can make up for bad aim, but in most situations you still have to have that solid foundation to stand on. I will better explain the balance between aim and game sense in the next part. Most of these clips were not clipped for the purpose of the video itself, but rather cause I popped off (they are older clips). I will be clipping more applicable plays more in the future to better have the medium being viewed the same as the audio. Thank you.
Part of learning aim is knowing the gamesense around it. Even tho he doesnt have the best aim, his crosshair placement and understanding of how and where characters move around the map allows him to set up his shots before they are in line of site.

love this video! i'm currently asc2 and i have a similar playstyle (though i usually play smokes instead of initiators). Valorant was my first ever FPS game so I obviously knew I was mechanically less trained than people who came from other games like OW, CS, and Apex. I can rarely hit shots like those duelist main montages usually do (you know, the insane flick clips after peeking 3 enemies at once and killing them all) and that more thaan half of the kills I get are trades, so I've been feeling quite a bit of an impostor syndrome once I got into diamond/ascendant, because everyone else's aim seemed much more solid compared to me. this video was really reassuring because i'm seeing someone else play the game similar to how i play :) thanks for this!

Looking at your ranked game pyramid, it makes me realize how much people actually play this game. I've never been able to completely fill up the pyramid, ever.
nice video man I saw that sometimes you place ur crosshair too close to wall waiting for enemy to peek you, but I think that it will be really hard to kill bcs you have less time to react holding crosshair that way
