Toontrack's EZBass vs IK's MODO BASS which one I should choose? Anyone?

Get both..lol...honestly, sound wise, the options on the modeled Modo basses are a slight edge IMO, but for midi groove construction and overall simplicity, especially if you’re accustomed to Toontrack products EZ bass is amazing. It really just depends on what ur needs are.

How do I select the same note or pitch but on a different string? Like for example if I want to select an open G string instead of the G note on the 5th fret of the D string.
