You should try running it through the Cerberus Bass amp by Kuassa. Gonna try this and see if I like it. Didn't like the first two EZBass plugins.

Kinda off topic question. Do you find taking out some low end of the bass with an EQ to be better than side-chain compression that only takes out some low end of the bass when the kick hits?
The bass-kick side chain is more common in EDM. I don’t know any metal producer who actually does that.
Hey CC Chicken, some metal producers do this to create space in the mix. I prefer not to do it because when fast double bass patterns happen the bass gets pushed down constantly. I prefer a MB compressor on the master bus that controls the low-end slightly. In other words: I prefer to let the kick and bass have their own space so there's no need for side-chain comping. But that's just my taste.

Hi Mendel, just curious, would you choose the ez bass over the bass vstis from impact studios?
I read that on one of the support pages that it can't handle tunings below A. Do you know if there's a way around that?
maybe a stupid question but does that mean it can handle drop f on audio tracker? i had read something about the top string not being able to be changed individually so wouldn’t give the drop tuning?

Song sounds amazing! Anyone know what is the lowest note this expansion can do? I have ezbass and it seems A (like dropped A dropped down from B on a 5 string bass). Woukd love if this can go lower dropped G... dropped E maybe? But is hard to tell from the info available.

It seems that we will not see for a long time, the great absence of EZbass , with each expansion it continues to be confirmed ... EZbass has made a difference in many aspects, without a doubt ... The grid editor and its flexibility is unprecedented. . However the realism is largely discarded, because they didn't "sample" all the frets of the strings, something that is undoubtedly essential for the instrument to sound real. It only remains to wait for an EZbass 2 or Superior Bass or maybe a major update, but this will make the actual expansions..expired,.. any options will take time, I think. Very sad Toontrack, your products are amazing, but this time, you were left incomplete to totally beat the competition... I hope you improve that, it's the only great detail that you missed
