Wild Wolf Ecounter in Yellowstone National Park

Wild wolf encounter in Yellowstone National Park. An amazing sighting of a wolf leaping into the air. The black wolf was eating a bison carcass in Hayden Valley. The wolf would chase the ravens off the carcass by leaping straight up into the air. This was an incredible sight, something we have not seen before.
We watched the wolf for about two hours. At one point the wolf went down to the river and drank. Then about ten minutes later it seemed to eat its fill and disappeared up the mountain. Some stated the wolf was part of the Wapiti Lake pack which is known to take down adult bison. This wolf pack would be a little far north from there known territory in Pelican Valley.
