Regarding supporting cast...It's just mind blowing how LeBron is allowed to throw his own teammates under the bus. I remember MJ's press conferences and post-game interviews where he'd talk about "we" got outplayed "they" were the better team today, "I" need to step my game up to help my team more, etc. Even the post-game interview after being eliminated in game 7 of the ECF in 90 where Pippen scored 2 pts on 1/10 shooting, he didn't throw anyone under the bus. Game 6 of the 98 Finals where Jordan had the steal on Malone with 18 seconds left and the GW shot...Bulls scored 87 pts. MJ had 45 of those. His second-best scorer was Kukoc I think at 15 pts. And there were whole series with that kind of production from people not named Michael Jordan.
I'm not much of a basketball fan at all, but I fully understand your meaning. MJ had respect for his teammates.
Just look at the ‘95 East Semis where he lost that series against the magic. He put the responsibility on him. Same with Kobe against the Celtics in ‘08. No blaming teammates. Also they both managed to win the title the very next year.
