    Watching this you'd have thought that the retractable roof was installed without any issues. No mention of the fact that the stadium missed the actual first game which was supposed to be an Atlanta United soccer match, and that the roof wasn't operating for the first 3 or 4 football games, and was mostly unused the entire first Falcons season in the building. Watching this you'd think it all went perfectly

    I find it funny that the video does not mention that the opening was delayed 6 months. There were major issues with the structure being built. I believe still to this day the roof has problems opening and closing. The guys installing the seating probably had to work nights because they were so far behind on the roof. The company I work for was brought on to the project to help resolve their issues.

    Beautiful stadium, however, in America, “many, many years” translates to around 20-30 before the owners start complaining how “outdated” this one is and why they “need” a new one. The Georgia dome before it only lasted 25 years. Guess we’ll wait and see. 🤷🏾‍♂️

    Very nice architecture. But why not using the roof with solar panels? I see solar panels next to it but not on the large areas of the roof.

      @litz13 Месяц назад

      @@hgeogr it's a question of weight.
      They actually make enough energy off those solar panels next to the stadium to power an entire soccer match.
      The building is LEED Platinum; the only stadium in the world to achieve so

    This retractable dome will end up being a costly mistake. Atlanta is too HOT in the summertime and is often too COLD in the wintertime. Fans and players alike EXPECT to be COMFORTABLE year round. My prediction is that this dome will be CLOSED most of the time‼️

    If they build it without anyone getting injured and the roof retracts like it should then they paid for a good worthy stadium for a long time

      They've built it, the stadium is a few years old. The sofi stadium in LA and allegiant stadium in Vegas are the newest nfl stadium.
