Actually, we were better without Salah, Nunes, Macca, Jones, Konate, and Szobo. I actually want to see the same line on the next game as well, but knowing klopp, he would revert back to his default line up, and we will struggle. I hope he gives these lads another chance, tho
Trent got MOTM for that free-kick BUT Gakpo was the real MOTM, he was excellent yesterday. He showed the attitude yesterday that is required to stay in this league title chase. He was a constant threat the whole game and had a decent effort on goal tipped over by the goalie. He should have had a 2nd effort from a more central area but Jota's run across him stopped that. That was much better all round yesterday.....a bit nervy in 1st half but the Gravenberch goal just lifted the whole mood and it was visible.

City won't lose any games now, and even if they do, they have the officials on their team to make sure Liverpool and Arsenal lose points as necessary.
The only consolation, as a Liverpool fan, is that in the United games, there were no dodgy decisions and Liverpool did it to themselves, so only themselves to blame.

You shouldn't worry so much about Liverpool winning the PL. If Manchester City wins all its matches, neither Arsenal nor Liverpool can overtake them. And in the last couple of years Man City never let such an opportunity slip from their hands. (Although I would much rather either Arsenal or Liverpool win the PL than Man City.)

Agree with Gakpo, always feel he has extra quality. I do think Gravenberch is technically a good player but tactically very poor. I actually don't think he played well apart from his goal. Hopefully though it will build his confidence and he will improve.

I am looking forward to a new manager. Maybe we will have a formation that leads to less injuries, repairs our weak defence. Makes the most of our midfield and forwards. Amorim hopefully will join us and bring in a better approach to games by strengthening the defence while still playing exciting football. Paisley replaced Shankly and won many more trophies, hopefully this will happen again.

Klopp loves playing wingers as forwards, Gakpo, Nunez, and Jota. Although, I'd argue he's a great forward too. I don't know why Klopp does it. but benching Salah and Nunez today was fantastic from Klopp. they needed that, Liverpool needed that.
the reason I tweeted that Gakpo, Diaz, Salah and Nunez should be sold is that Amorim doesn't play with wingers and we have 4-5 of them, they don't work in the system. Obviously, they will not all be sold, but I believe over time, maybe 2 years, they will all play elsewhere. Gakpo might be MOTM today though.

I stand to be corrected but I think it comes down to games won.
They will look at head to heads. So Arsenal will be champions in this scenario having beaten both Liverpool and City once and drawn once.
That scenario happened in 1989 with Liverpool & Arsenal - but the title went to Arsenal because they had scored more goals throughout the season.
They'd figure out a way to hand it to City, because that's all that's happened all season.
Liverpool is not perfect. Has strengths and weaknesses. This moaners are armchair managers who should stick to playing Football Manager.
