Beef Wellington never disappeared in the UK. It's sold as a ready-to-cook or packaged meal in all supermarket chains.

Ugh Salmon Loaf. Whenever mom would make it we'd have a battle of wills, think I sat at the table 4 hours once refusing to eat it.

Egg Nog, great way to get calories into elderly patients who have trouble eating. Salisbury steak, where I grew up, it was made with cube steak. Salmon patties never left my area, every Friday.

My wife loves liver n onions and Salisbury steak. Both carry a lot of weight in the meal rotation. I seldom plan to prepare either dish. I just know when the ingredients show up on the counter that that's what I'm making tonight.

Egg Foo Young, or Foe Jong Hai is a staple dish in Chinese Restaurants in Holland since the 1950ties. And it's still available in every Supermarket here...😊

My parents had grocery store eggnog in the 50's and 60's but I've never liked it. On the other hand, my husband and I used to make scratch eggnog for the holidays back when we did a lot of entertaining. It was a lot of work but it was absolutely delicious.
