I unpack what I bring in my cook kit for day hikes and a cup of coffee. It’s important to me to stop and enjoy being outdoors with a cuppa. Hope you like the video. Jeff
I have a GSI Ketalist? Nesting bowl/cups. I too use the Trangia Triangle stove and a gell burner that I put hexamine fuel tablets in. It too is quiet. Thank you for sharing👍
I’ve thought recently about switching to a gel burner. I love the idea of an even lighter set up while maintaining the quietness. Glad you enjoyed the video. I need to make an update!
I have several brew kits depending on what hikes or day outings will be. That said, a Trangia kit is always part of the mix. 3years on do you still carry that exact Trangia set up or have you changed anything about what you take with you now heading into 2024?
Hey! I have moved countries since then and haven’t done much hiking with a trangia. That said, the setup from this video is still my go to. It’s quiet, lightweight and I really enjoy the “primitiveness” of the setup.
You can also keep the trangia meths burner in with your trangia triangle and put more stuff in your kettle
Great video. Gave me some ideas to build my own. Cheers.
Thanks Pal!
Very nice kit. Thanks for sharing!

@jeffreymcnelly2567 It lightens the kit for day hikes, overnighters. For longer trips I use the alcohol burner.
Sweet little kit. Well done
