The last two baffles you put in why is there a hole in each corner.? 2:09 I just installed mine and seems weird only one nut holds it on. Mabe it’s a jig hole from factory to hang when painting
More than likely it’s something from the manufacturing process. If your baffles are solid to the deck and the blades can all spin freely with even spacing around each one you should be good.
The mulch kit encapsulates each blade to allow them to keep grass and leaves under the deck longer to chop everything up and then drop the material down as you move along instead of out the side discharge. So no a bagger and a mulch kit will not work together.
they are all different part numbers, and they don't make a mulch block off plate. the raptor used to have a plate, now the fastrak desk is found on the raptor xdx so they want you to buy the whole kit for $300. which still doesn't have a block off plate, one of the baffles kind of blocks it, but it looks cheesy from the outside. does yours seem to work ok?
A block off plate and a mulch kit are really two very different things. A block off plate, which there are a few lever activated aftermarket options that are very nice to temporarily get past say a pool or a passing car, but they will build up material at the plate because the factory deck baffling is designed to push material to that exit point. No matter what type of blade you use permanent block offs are really useless. The mulch kits are expensive but if you want to actually mulch with your unit, that’s how you do it. The way it looks really doesn’t matter in this case. Thanks for the question.
@Steve Tech I've had both setups on a scag. the hurricane mulch kit which includes the baffles and the mulch blades and the block off plate, and I've also run mowers with just a block off plate and mulch blades and had good success.

Oh didn’t know you where in Texas, it probably won’t matter much depending on the grass type and density.
I really am intrigued at your initial question. What would be the purpose of blocking the discharge in your scenario?
I installed my mulch kit on my fastrak and it's horrible, i made a few videos and hustler is involved at this point, we'll see what happens.
