Now turn out the lights (nighttime) and do it in an overcrowded truckstop in the pouring rain.

You don't get so confident with a wall sitting there. Inches from the blind side. We all have been there. 😊

Let’s show a video with your students alley dock with trucks around because they have to know how to adjust when trucks are park differently. Good video

I had to back in like this with trailers on both sides and along the right side where the shoulder would be when your pulling forward ! I got it done 3erd times a charm !

It’s crazy how much I used to hate learning this maneuver, thinking to myself “I’m never gonna get this”
Now I’m out here doing it like it’s a part of my routine. I have an easier time doing this than almost any other maneuver.

Hey I’m learning this I’m at my new job and trucking school they didn’t show us shit like this.. I’m expected to know all of this in 3 days of training and I’m having a hard time understanding the concept.. tmrrws my 3rd day but I’m no where near ready for the actual thing.

Alot of these 90 degree videos have them starting in a 45 degree. The testing center in Statesville, NC won't allow us to do that.

If you’re trying to teach backing, you kinda have to get the steer axle in the video the whole time

Don’t make it easy on the students thinking that it’s going to be that easy, take them to an actual real life situation with cars honking their horns at you and flipping you off for not knowing how to back up and being to slow. Don’t forget to tell them you’re not going to have this much space to work with when you’re on your own
