The way Louise talks is so enjoyable to listen to…it sounds like a good writing…it really flows so nicely.

An interview with her was in my feed. I liked her so much I ordered as many books as I could from my local library. I just love the world she created and the characters. I am a mystery writer too and older. I have written four books but not published yet but this interview is giving me courage. Thank you, Louise!

I cannot say how much I enjoy her books! Listening to this interview and again of how her life was and how it changed, gives hope to all who need the hope to go on. I look forward to her next book, and the next and on and on! She is a beautiful woman and a beautiful soul!

This interview makes me admire Louise Penny even more. I, too, am a recovering alcoholic and my husband has Alzheimer’s disease. In retirement/caregiving, I have the time to follow my dream of writing. However, at this point, I am more of an appreciative reader. I really liked how Louise described going into her little world of Three Pines where she is in control of what happens and enjoys the company of her characters Thanks for sharing this friendship with us.

What great honesty! And honesty scares so many people. I 've picked up my first book as an outsider living in Quebec.

Thank you for such an honest interview (I"m a "tad" late to this, obviously). Louise Penny is THE BEST contemporary fiction writer! Her characters are people you would love to meet, and her writing is both soothing and compelling. Thank you, Louise ~ for an honest look at the world and for giving millions of us hours of pleasure reading your books. :)

Each time I finish one of her books I feel like I'm leaving friends. The absolute best series of books by any author I have ever known.

The great thing about her books is the psychological aspect. It isn’t just about solving the mystery, it is about the characters. Everyone should have an Armand or Michael.

Huge fan ( my lovely sister in law introduced me to this grand story telling, I am so grateful to her. ) I find comfort from Louise Penny’s rich character layering and that spellbinds you into their lives with added mystery suspense. Pure brilliance.

She is a master story teller when she writes. Some people can tell a story to other people and some people are masters at reading someone else's words. Louise puts it down on paper where she can't take it back and anyone can scrutinize what she has offered. What she has given to us is excellent. Excellent. Thank you, Louise.

How awful it was for you to feel so unworthy for so long. . Look what you have accomplished personally. Well done, Louise. A good man is hard to find. Congratulations on accepting love and letting it wok for you.
