Hi Maya! Thank you for your content!! As a westerner who fell in love with Maqamat a bit later in life, there is not enough high quality, English language material like this, that explains theory and demonstrates it. I don't know if you have you watched Sami Abu Shumays series of videos of Maqam lessons, but they are absolutely amazing and have taught me most of what I've absorbed in the past couple years, and your use of legos to show the ajnas and branches of a maqam reminds me of the maqam charts he uses. You both also focus on learning by ear and repetition of melodic phrases to build the musical vocabulary of the maqam, which is especially helpful for those who don't read musical notation well.

Enhorabuena por tu hermosa música llena de flores y pájaros. Que hermosa tristeza se siente entre tus cuerdas. Un beso desde España de un pobre enamorado de la belleza.
