That's a good and fair review. Some notes - The audio jack is also external mic in (stereo if you want). A mono mic can be conncted to the wireless transmitter. Hopefully they will fix the tracking with an update, though if you set it to "fast follow" it works better, some say.
Been thinking of getting it ever since I drowned my first Pocket because I carelessly didn't tighten the waterproof case! And this review just convinced me I should get it, plus I have some accessories from the first one that I think is reusable. On a different note, you made me miss Singapore so much!

It's not a proportional zoom if you're thinking of it slowing down as you zoom in. But you can adjust the overall speed of the joystick zoom via the touch screen menu options.
good review. I just got the combo. few examples on my channel Marty Sender You Tube. I know its a good vlogger camera, but i'm more interested in pointing that little lens on top of a gimbal the size of a stick of butter ON THE WORLD. not on me. regardless, for the price, it's a hell of a good machine. I shoot high end mirrorless, live music, but this little thing? man, its a blast fun. Marty
@@martysender5539 It's not. Just saying in comparison, the Pocket 2's got a good in-between balance for its lens. Wide enough to see more, not so wide as to start distorting the corners.
I'd say you'd easily get about 2 hours with the Pocket 2. If you're setting it up and shooting continuously, you can always top it up with an external source, or powerbank. Everything's USB-C now, so pretty much hassle free.

It is isn't it. And it doesn't fisheye too much either unlike most action cameras
