Appreciate your frank review, your reservations about the overengineering for this model is on point. Those of us that clamoured for your review of the 3 was because this model is the only one across multiple brands that has the peltier cooling plate wrapping the whole neck. I was an early adopter after I couldn't wait for your review, as our climate is beginning to overwhelm even my older trusty WUDI IDI Arctic Neck Cooler (from Taiwan), so yeah, this is also my first Torras product. I have to say, I am very disappointed as I had to change multiple units to get a working one, and even the working one has multiple glitches between charge cycles (I suspect battery QC failed). The 3-sided peltier cooling plates however, when they work, gets VERY cold to the touch, the equivalent to having a always icy towel on the neck. EDIT: This 4th unit now can no longer hold any charge and must be tethered to a power bank to even power on. It is a piece of overpriced junk.
The plates work well in indoor muggy conditions and not too hot outdoor condtions, but near useless in even slightly humid weather. Did you find the same thing?
@@chinitopinoy1726 the discomfort from humidity is due to our sweat not being able to evaporate despite the heat, so yeah, not effective in hot humid environment without shelter. The best we can do is to put the fan at full blast to attempt to evaporate the sweat on the face. If concerned about battery life, you can use the app to set just the rear fan at low, and only the side fans at full blast (approx 1.5hr from full charge). Note that you should use the cooler with the lower nape section tucked UNDER your shirt collar regardless if you are wearing a round neck or collared shirt.
Very biased and unfair review. Didn't even try the Coolify 3 properly, just put it on for 5 seconds then declared it is worse then the 2S. Where is the outdoor test? Or battery test to see how long it lasts? Check whether three cooling pads are better than two?
Is coolify 2s better ? I dont actually understand, does it blow cool air to our face or just normal air ?? Coolify 3 blows cool air or coolify 2s blow cool air ?? Or is it just normal air ??

Coulld you review Coolify Cyber? It was said to be the improved version of Coolify 3.

Maybe try the Ranvoo Aice3? Some say the battery life is better and the cooling from the plates is colder than Coolify products
Shenzhen Lanhe Technologies own the patents and is the parent company for both Ranvoo and Torras. The QC problems will likely be the same as well.
