  • Helllooo everybody and come along for the ride as I take on the task of rebuilding the Colorado Rockies here on MLB The Show 24.
In this episode, we'll advance through May as our Rockies keep up their early season success. We'll jump into key moments as we aid our team to another good month of ball which sees us climb atop the NL West for the first time in this series.
We'll pay special attention to rookie closer Ken Hughes as he approaches Alex Reyes' MLB record of 24 consecutive saves to start an MLB career. Hughes has been absolutely lights out since making the show during last season's September call-ups and has emerged as one of the top closers in all of baseball. We'll jump into a couple of save situations with Hughes and get a look at our closer to the future.
To close the episode, we'll take to a Player Lock game with free agent signing Nick Senzel as he's proven to be a lethal addition to our lineup against lefties. We enjoy success with Senzel at the plate as Colorado tries to close the episode with a victory. We'll also take a look at the 2026 MLB Draft pool and outline potential strategies for this year's draft.
In the next episode, we'll continue simming along as we'll get halfway through June before stopping to set up the succeeding episode which will be a full game against the NL East-leading Atlanta Braves.
