I appreciate his emphasis on effort. He worked towards his goals, and he did not expect anyone to just give them to him.
Am I the only one who can’t find the group on Geneva? Lol
at first, i thought this was the most random guest but it ended up being such an informative and motivating episode. this is prob my fave episode so far ❤️ especially love what he said about saying affirmations in third person. i’ve been doing this but i thought i was crazy and didn’t think it was an actual thing that people do 😂
I really enjoyed this episode Kelsey! The way Matt explains himself and his writing and gives advice is comforting because I can tell his wisdom comes from experience and even though he is a successful person his words don't sound ostentatious or haughty in any way. Thank you for sharing him and his book with more people!
This was such a good video he’s super charismatic and humble big slay
"You belong here because you are here." That just blew my whole mind.
Loved this episode! Would be super interesting if you could share ur own journey with anxiety (if you’d be comfortable sharing that of course) and what tools or advice you have on managing it.
Kelsey!! I can’t find the book club on Geneva.. but I’m so excited for it!
me too! It doesn’t show up when I search circle time
Same here! If anyone is able to find the link, I'd love ya forever
Same!🥺

Can't find you on Geneva :( But would love to join the book club
Kelsey this episode was actually so inspiring😭🫶
such a great episode and interview! loved hearing Matts story and outlook on life- he’s so awakened and I can’t wait to read his book! great job Kelsey🧚 and buzzin for the book club!!!
You are the meat and potatoes of my day 😋🤍🥰
I love this guy! I totally agree with everything he said. He is so open & raw about his processes for anxiety- it made me feel better knowing that even super successful people question themselves too! I’ve been unknowingly doing a lot of the things he mentioned to help combat my own imposters syndrome- it was awesome to hear that there is research backing them & that they worked for him!
Immediately downloaded this episode so I can come back a million times Omg. I need that book!!
Sending love Kelsey😍 from Latvia! 🇱🇻
Thank you for your pods 🙏
This is such an underrated episode omg!!!
SO GOOD KELSEY! Love this (:
Im all for teaching people life skills but putting down educational tools (like long division) that are the foundation for higher thinking is not cool. Thats why everyone is dumb: the hate on basic learning steps
I do wish people would stop blaming school for not knowing how to do basic life skills. School is for education that leads to higher education. It's not for teaching kids how to live. Why are people so insistent on blaming their school for not teaching them how to buy a car? What class should that go in? What college class is that going to be useful in? Assuming your parents/other family members own a car, shouldn't it be their job to teach you that life skill? People somehow expect teachers to tell kids everything they need to know about life during a 7-8 hour day. What are parents for?? Or whatever caregiver you have?? Hell, you can learn almost anything on RUclips! But people want to have everything perfectly laid out and explained to them before they're 18. That's not what school is for. Your parents have the first responsibility for your education, then your teachers.
Obviously, some people do not have that family support system or the means to learn outside of school. But come on, how small of a percentage is that compared to the amount of people who complain that they learned what a mitochondria is?
Apparently I have strong opinions on this lol. If anyone reads this, I hope it sticks with you in some way. Sorry for the rant.
