- Richmond Park - National Nature Reserve, presented by Sir David Attenborough, is an award-winning film by conservation charity the Friends of Richmond Park. Filmed by experienced wildlife film makers (including a leading cameraman from Blue Planet II), you can vote for the film now in the 2018 Charity Film Awards in the 'Documentary/Long Form' category, go to: www.charityfilmawards.com/videos. Sir David explains in the film: “Richmond Park is not just a local park it's London's own National Nature Reserve with thousands of species of flora and fauna; but with 5.5 million visitors each year, the Park is under immense pressure. However, as visitors we can all help to protect it through simple actions so that it will remain a wonderful place for the enjoyment of future generations”.

Look after our lovely park so future generations can enjoy, as I did as a schoolboy, exploring, watching, sitting thinking and believing one day it'll let our dreams come true.

I love that ancient oak tree, it's a home to so many species, and it has lived for almost 800 years.
Perfect capture by Richmond
Beautiful video. I lived most of my life next to it too and I took my children there for “adventures” captured in our minds, soul and videos. Lockdown has increased its visitors and this message is more important than before. I have witnessed behaviours contrary to the message of this video during this lockdown period. Educating visitors is essential.
Thank you David. A very well put together account. I have so many pleasant memories at the park both studying the deer at university, enjoying the park as a member of the public & having quiet time in meditation as a meditation teacher. I look forward to my next visit.

Went to Richmond Park today for the first time and it's absolutely beautiful. Saw so many deer and different species of birds including bright green wild parakeets. :)
