I own a 2019 Tesla M3P and a 2022 Tesla S Plaid. Which is more fun depends on my mood. Cant beat the Plaid for the straight-line thrills and comfort, and it handles better than you'd expect. The 3 is smaller and more nimble for taking turns on the back roads. The 3 is quick too (not fast) but could use more highway pull for my taste. The power of the Long Range or plaid in sport mode would be perfect in the 3 performance imo. I also have a 2020 ND2 Miata manual for the weekends. Again, depends on my mood, as there are times I find the Miata the most fun out of my three cars.
Just curious too, if you had thought about something like the Mountain Pass Performance "Big Fellow" brake upgrade for your X? Looks to be reasonably priced if it's effective $1700.
Looking forward to the upcoming Tesla comparison video you mentioned. Love to hear all your thoughts on Model X Plaid vs Model S Plaid. Is the loss in acceleration, handling, and braking in the X worth the trade off for comfort . Great channel!
