Fletchers sold $3,600,000 in corn dogs at the Fair this year! 😲 They have 30 booths out there tho. The Fair keeps 25% of our sales (I had a food booth at the Fair this year and sold >$260,000 in the 3 weeks! 😃) The Fair is profitable for vendors... And as a consumer, it’s expensive! But so worth it. 💙 I want one of those queso burgers!!!
I wish food insider would give some negative parts about it too, all the foods they try is always 10/10. I think things would be more interesting if they had a bit of something negative to say like constructive criticism.
When restaurants give you free food, as I get at times, sometimes it's hard to say something bad about it. But that would make the show pretty interesting.

Fletcher's is a great family owned company. Good people running it. Not the best corn dog to honest. If you like fried, fried battered food, State Fair of Texas is for you. Definitely go at sunset/night for the rides and the ski lift that will take you over the fair with a great view of the Dallas skyline. The livestock barns are fun too. The rest is a big car show with Ford and Chevy fighting for seniority.
A Veggie Fletchers With Mustard (Never ever w/ Ketchup) and a beer is how I start off a visit to the State Fair Of Texas. Also: Stiffler's Mom's Cookies are the best dessert to boot. I bought a bucket in 2019 and handed them out to people..

The State Fair of Texas has been under operation for a super long time that no tornado of any level on the Fujita scale has ever damaged/contacted any part of the fairgrounds!
My hometown. The State Fair is such a tradition that even schools in surrounding states would give their students tickets to attend. Don't know if they still do that nowadays.
It's not that you can't enjoy it, if people are more aware of what they are putting in their bodies, they are less likely to overeat (at least unconsciously) so that fewer people become obese.
Alright, how about we stop commenting about the host and how her eyes pop and whatnot. She is a human with feelings and might be hurt reading all these comments ignoring the video (which they spent much effort and time on) just to talk about her and her facial expressions.
