My goodness you have such great plans❤. I have every confidence in you and your ability to meet your goals. Beyond that I enjoy your visits and being in your presence. Thank you for the visit!😊
Thank you so so much for the shout out. Love all the stitching and your Christmas plans. Kitty is adorable even if cantankerous sometimes with added gifts. Your such a speedy stitcher. Thank you for sharing your time with us and showing us your gorgeous finishes. Happy stitching to you.
Beautiful stitching as always Nerissa! Congratulations on almost 2000 subscribers although I'm not surprised.....your lovely personality and fabulous projects are very addictive! Big hugs ❤
Hi Marilyn, thank you for the lovely comment . I love stitching on the big samplers, I enjoy the progress of seeing them come alive on the blank sheets of fabric. Christmas stitching is my other favourite type of stitching. Happy stitching Nerissa
So many beautiful projects Nerissa! I love seeing the wips and finishes, but I also like how you show us the works you completed in the past. It's weird that once a piece has been stitched and shared, it sort of "disappears." You've got so many amazing projects, I am glad you give them the chance to shine and allow us to enjoy them. Love how you're going to customise the colours of the Jeanette Douglas treasure box, excited to watch your progress on that one. Thanks also for the mention of that Brenda Gervais freebie, I didn't realise she had any, so off I went to hunt em down. The Christmas one is perfect for Christmas in July! Your Christmas in July planned wips and projects is a wonderful list of designs, such great variety! For the stockings, I am a fan of the Bramble fabric. It has a more classic vintage feel to it; personally the Eucalyptus might overwhelm the design. As for my Christmas in July plans, I want to get two existing Christmas themed wips finished (a Just Nan and a Nora Corbett) and hopefully start the next Prairie Schooler Santa and my Shepherd's Bush stocking. Last but definitely not least, congrats on the sub numbers! Most deserved. Your passion and joy for your stitching shines through and is so infectious, I always finish watching your videos enabled and excited about projects I never thought I'd be excited with. Thank you :) have a great stitching week and looking forward to your Aug/Sep plans vid!
Thank you Zeb, I am so enjoying making the flosstubes. I think it is important to show case my past stitches, because they have been part of my stitching journey and some are still available to buy. I love looking at them and remembering what Was happening in my life at that time. I love the treasures box design and I am looking forward to mixing in my own colours. ( have had it for several years- time it was stitched). I think I will do a test stitch on both fabrics for the blackbird stockings, maybe even a set on each. You are welcome for the enabling, happy stitching Nerissa
Hi Nerissa. Loved seeing your past Christmas finishes and hearing about your plans! I'm planning on focusing my July stitching on Christmas Garden and seeing your finish really is inspiring me to try to get mine done----but, you know how pesky those squirrels can be🤣 So excited for your next video of your plans for August and September! Thanks for another great video:)
Thank you, I am glad you enjoyed some of my past Christmas stitching . Christmas Garden by blackbird designs is one of my absolute favourites. I know those squires very well!!! Happy stitching Nerissa
OMG big hearts for every single thing you showed! Such treasures! And a lovely big hug to you for giving me a shout out! I am off to discover some more new to me kiwi flosstubers! Looking forward to stitching Christmas with everyone!
Thank you. I love watching your flosstube and seeing what you have been up to. You deserved the shoutout , your stitching is wonderful. Happy stitching Nerissa 😊
OMG how exciting to see a new flosstube and for it to be “bonus length” - thanks for keeping me company while I stitch this evening. You know I’m not a sampler gal like your are but Rose Wreath literally took my breath away and I had to rewind and find the name/designer of it, WOW! She’s stunning! Not the piece to start a sampler addiction with but definitely one to aspire to! Your Christmas plans all sound like fun, and I can’t wait to see your granddaughters stocking take shape. Take care, Nic x
Thanks for watching Nic, I was happy to keep you company. The rose wreath sampler has to be one of my favourites that I have stitched on. My granddaughter will be staying here next week. so I better get a lot more done on her stocking, she will be checking every day. Happy stitching Nerissa 😊
Fabulous video. I will enjoy seeing your progress on all of the Christmas. I have one Christmas in July that I would like to start but I don't want to stop my patriotic one, "One Nation" by Samplers Notforgotten. I want to start the Sue Hillis "Christmas Morning" box.
Thank you. Oh I love the one nation by samplers not forgotten, it is so beautiful. I have Christmas morning box in my stash to start at some stage. Happy stitching Nerissa
Thank you so much Christine, I am a big Christmas fan as well, I am getting excited about stitching Christmas again. Hope you are feeling a lot better now. Happy stitching Nerissa
I may be half way through your videos and I continue to be amazed at your projects and that you work through to get so many sampler finishes in addition to your various smalls. When you hand dye your linen, do you overdue a colored one or do you use white linen? You’re right one stitch at a time, even one thread at a time moves the need,e along towards a finish. Thank you for your inspiration and take care!
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful projects. I am stitching my second project on eucalyptus and I really live the color. The bramble is really pretty too so I know you will have a tough choice. Let us know what you decide. Either one will look great.
Hi, I haven’t fully watched this episode yet as I’ve only just finished #3. I am stitching Evening In The Park what fabric did you stitch yours on as it is gorgeous? Also did you buy another Chatelaine? Thanks in advance 😊 Love your videos Tricia
Hi Tricia, Thank you for watching my flosstubes. I stitched Chatelaine in the Park in the called for fabric, I purchased it as a kit from European crossstitch- not sure what the fabric is called. I have ordered a couple of the chatelaines and will show them when they arrive. Happy stitching Nerissa

Thank you. I am going to do some test stitches on both the eucalyptus and bramble fabrics then I will decide which one. Happy stitching Nerissa
Ive nearly got the bottom border of Mary G done but none of the exciting bits! Loved the video. Sian.
Thank you . It was a hard decision not to do the whole boarder first. But I wanted to put in some of the red . Happy stitching Nerissa 😊
Jane Fiddes 1835 is still available on the H.A.T.S. website.
Yes I know, the wrong sampler came out of my mouth . I have it in my collection.
