I hope we get kang! ramatut was a variant that existed in Egypt was an important point as he was the reason why apocalypse became and immortus appeared in the 4 part arc in the og series.

Loki season 2 was a banger. Although be very hard for any marvel project to top X-Men ‘97, Even the live action xmen probably won’t be this good as being animated really lets the writers do what they want without being hamstrung by the main MCU continuity.
The Queen of hearts card, a clear reference to the chess strategy "The Queen's Gambit" they're definitely bringing Gambit back.

I'm the exact opposite. I hope they skip over it completely, or at least drastically accelerate that plotline. Wolverine as basically an animal is one thing in comics, bit different for a TV show. Comics have text in the panels to give more explanation and exposition, on a show it basically boils down to "the X-Men have a savage attack dog with a healing factor."
Unless of course they chose to spend a bunch of time in every episode he's involved in wasting dialogue and time on filling in that exposition. Which I think would be a mistake. They've kept the pacing on point throughout the first season, by focusing on tight, concise story-telling and (for the most part) not wasting time on too much "pointless" exposition.
Pointless in quotations because it's not pointless when it's filling in crucial details or world-building, but it quickly starts to feel pointless when it goes on too long. And I feel like the feral Wolverine story would either A) fall into the trap of having to waste time on exposition since he can't speak or B) people lose interest in it very quickly because it's just not very interesting for the X-Men to have a team member that amounts to a guard dog with a healing factor. That's one of the reasons that story was abandoned relatively quickly in the comics, it was different and cool (to some, I always hated it) for a moment but then it just became boring because at that point Wolverine is no longer a true "character". He's just an animal, literally, as opposed to when he's truly Logan and people (usually his enemies) say he's just an animal. One of the most interesting things about Logan is how old he actually is, and all the experiences he's had in his life, good and bad alike, and you lose ALL of that when he's feral.
I really hope he talks to Hank about his taste in women in season 2.

xmen 97 really showing how a real marvel universe can work i hope other shows , and movies are taking notes.
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are off world with the Majority of the Avengers dealing with the Kree Shi’ar war like in the comics during the 90s . A massive cross over called Operation Galactic Storm. This was confirmed by the head writer on X. It is why the X-Men have been largely on their own

Children’s of the 90’s - this helps the existential crisis…almost heals it.
I doubt Feige thought Xmen97 would turn out this good, Beau deserves a lot of credit for it because he's so invested in X-Men that this show is so emotionally fulfilling. God help us if he Feige takes him back and gets him involved in live action.
I love how this show is so good, not because of nostalgia, but it's wonderfully written. I was so invested that there were moments during some of the episodes that genuinely left me with my mouth hung open

I hope the entire second season is an Age of Apocalypse deep dive and ends with Onslaught tease. They did great with exploring Bastion on the small screen, and the next 2 big bads are timeless classics.

The fact that tchalla is gray haired in this timeline suggests that if this mirrors the MCU then we haven't reached this point in the timeline yet. I still have hope for the move action version of all these heroes.

Pppsssbbt. Venture Bro fans waiting 20 years for a mere 7 season. Then just when the creators figured out how to make back to back season and ha e a road map cartoon network gets bought by Warner Brothers and canceled forever lolz.
This is because of the rise of streaming. The television production landscape changed greatly with the fall of syndication being the ultimate goal followed by the always available nature of all episodes both good and bad. That encourages show runners these days to make shorter seasons with only the key content because quantity at the expense of quality is no longer a successful formula.
They gotta bring back Gambit he was cooking before the sentinels got him I know he coming with apocalypse but we need old remy back

This was a span of 6960 years in total from 3000 BC to 3960 AD with 1997 in the middle.
Hoping we see jubilee ,and sunspot work together with emma as team telepath assemble generations X / new mutant along with forge , and Bishop as the leader.

@@sicnic666 Considering Disney has many resources to get animators. They should start marketing season 2 this Summer and release it Fall. People start to lose interests like the Invincible season 2, not sure what happened to the last 4 episodes.

I'm more shocked that apocalypse was even concerned about so much death. That's exactly what he wanted death. But it looks like he actually cares.
John Colicos was iconic as the voice of Apocalypse. I wonder who is doing the voice now, and how close he will be to Colicos.
I agree, both Calicos and Blendick were legendary when they played Apocalypse! Theirs is the main voice I hear in my imagination when reading the comics, the only other Apocalypse voice that came close was David Kaye in X-Men: Evolution.
Whoever the new guy is, he has some big shoes to fill most _definitely_ when it comes to present Apocalypse's voice. But, so far, at least 95% of the new voice actors have been great so far, so I'm quite confident that at least for now, this new guy will deliver.

Even if they make Gambit come back as a Horseman, I hope that eventually Rogue gets him back the way he was.
That's what happened in the comics.
Some of my theories concerning season 2, especially if there are more episodes to work with, are at least 2-5 episodes dealing with all of the Apocalypse storylines, the formation of Forge and Bishop's team, Xavier and Magneto's group dealing with Rama-Tut, Scott and Jean doing the Red & Slim/Askani Son thing, in the present Apocalypse is forming his new horsemen one of which being Gambit. Apocalypse might even have an encounter with the retrieval X-Men/X-Factor. Cable might even meet with some of whom will be this version of X-Force. Before all of those time-displaced elements are dealt with, they'll be other episodes in between setting up other story elements that will converge by the last episode of season 2 up to and including an episode about Vulcan, Emma Frost Wolverine and maybe others... _IF_ Logan isn't in one of the other timelines in particular. Once Apocalypse is defeated or dealt with in the present with some heavy references to the Blood of Apocalypse Arc, he'll escape and recover _just_ enough to possibly help the X-Men and others fight Onslaught. More Onslaught details and allusions will be sprinkled even more so all throughout season two.
More of this has a greater chance of happening if there's even as little as 2 more episodes to work with.
Basically, after the time travel arcs are dealt with, the specter of Onslaught will be more apparent during and after the Apocalypse storylines.
There's even a slight chance that Marrow will re-appear as a character with lines and a story if she hasn't been confirmed as dead after Genosha, perhaps even as a part of Gene Nation initially?
Immortus was disguised in the Xmen animated series finally as the keeper at the end of time. He could the one preventing cable from stopping the attack on Genosha. It would interesting if Sabretooth and Cyber were in season 2. They did play a part in logan getting his metal back. Wolverine Gambit and Angel become horsemen . But Rachel Summers is the biggest plot point. She could be the one stopping Cable and Bishop from preventing the attack on Genosha as well. Stryfe could make an appearance. But Old Man Logan could also make a cameo.😅😅😅
Xmen 97 it’s the best translation as to what we mean when we say “the 90s did it better”
Of course when you see the original it doesn’t compare, but we felt it like this, and the diversity and inclusion were handled amazingly, uplifting everyone showing that we must work together, that’s how it was done, and X-men 97 shows that it’s how it should be done.

X-Men 97 absolutely deserves it's flowers but to say it's "the future of animated series" is kinda weird considering the production quality of series from studios like ufotable and Kyoto Animation routinely blow it out of the water.
I guess since they're going full clan Askani we will see stryfe ,and his clan too.
I believe Dr. Strange would consider Genosha's destruction, as unfortunate and tragic though it may be, a fixed event or cannon event. Sure you could go back in time and prevent Bastion from being born as a mutant(or not at all?), but I think then that there would just be something else similar or worse.

Here's something I noticed that none of the videos I watch have mentioned. Remember in the original X-Men series season 4 episode 21 "Beyond Good and Evil, Part 4: End and Beginning" near the end of the episode we see the character Bender (The guy driving Bishop nuts) turn into Immortus. Go back and check it out. I feel like it has a link to what's going on with Kang.

I think that move Bastion used against Rogue during their fight on the Moon was a time-travel move instead of a 'teleport' that you said in your finale review. That was my first instinct when I saw it happen
Plot twist: the asteroid was hit by Truck-kun and the X-Men were actually all isekaied in other manga worlds.
And Wolverine got reincarnated in a toddler with all his memories and powers, so he drinks beer and smokes cigars. His first word was "bub".

Also when they flash Magneto’s file and you see his alias names, the second name is the late actor David Hemblen who previously voiced Magneto in the original series. Maaaan this show really covered everything! Season 2 can’t get here fast enough and they REALLY need to give Beau DeMayo one more chance because that brotha truly gave us what we wanted and what Disney/Marvel desperately needed….A WIN lol!

I suspect Wolverine, Storm & Morph may be in Kang's fortress or in the Askani camp. They may change things up & have Kang or the Askani help Wolverine recover. Kang may trigger feral Wolverine & the Askani may help Wolverine get used to his bone claws.
I actually expect that Sinister will become one of the Horsemen, given how his powers were also stripped in Ep 10 - I see that as a tease that Sinister will be a Horseman. He will be looking for a way to quickly regain his powers.
I'm hoping Dazzler will also be revived as a Horseman though that could be a low likelihood, & maybe Calisto or Leech (if Magneto managed to be saved, maybe Leech's body didn't get disintegrated). Calisto would fit War, Leech would fit Famine. Sinister as Pestilence, Gambit as Death.
They may then incorporate the comics storyline & have Gambit break free of Apoc's control by the time the time-displaced X-Men return to the present. This opens up the vacancy for Wolverine to become the second Death & regain his adamantium.
I wonder, though, if they are going to adapt a part of Kang's storyline for Apoc, whereby he will time travel & stand with the X-Men to fight himself from another time.
I like those theories!

If Cable starts Xforce with Jubilee and Sunspot that would be dope. I’m excited to see other X-men included in the show.
I still think that Kang/Immortus/Rama Tut maybe involved with the X-MEN getting scattered through time. Seems too coincidental that they landed at two key time periods that involved Apocalypse.
One thing I want and can say, hopefully, is for season 2, season 2 not to take a long time. Like a year? Alot can happen within a year. I feel like the characters are much older or the actors are, and that shouldn't be the case.

2. Bishop And Forge don't know that the X-Men have been sweped thro time so why would they create a time machine to go looking for them??

I think you may be thinking too big, Beast and the X-men know exactly who Apocalypse is and are saying oh dear to literally running into a young Apocalypse and being in the past. They don't know about Kang yet but know of Apocalypse's origin from books but will help him like you said. Bishop is definitely not gonna be working playing telephone between the past and future, he more likely dealing with the present threat of Apocalypse with the remaining X-men and simultaneously working to bring the others back to the present to stop the future from happening. I expect most of the other villains Doom, Zemo etc will not be apart of the season 2 and remain cameos like most other heroes not a huge impact on the story. Lastly, Stryfe does exist in the show already and is a big part of that future arc probably.
ok, but what if we get this whole new animated universe beyond just revival. like, imagine a new Avengers animated series in the 90s Gaurdians Of The Galaxy, a Planet Hulk series, maybe one day we could get an Agent Venom series. i love the charm of this series. give it more than just them, add to the 90s universe that already exists, but use these existing shows to set up new characters, maybe do some animated movies every once in a while. Hell, give us and animated Secret Invasion movie as a huge crossover and give the title some justice
