I heard he was drinking too much because of the break up and kind of went in a free fall, he moved to bath for a new start and stopped drinking! We all have demons, Or many of us do! He does underpay I admit but it’s business and if people want to sell for that then up to them, however on some instances like at people houses I think it does seem wrong at times.
I met Drew in Essex one day. We had a good talk. I said I was doin what he does now but I started in 1965.Bloody he'll, he replied. I wasn't even born then.Really nice guy.....😂
In a place like that, there seems to be tons of things, he could have bought?? From a sales perspective, there really where alot of great furniture there!
Как здорово,что англичане как и французы и американцы и немцы бережно относятся к своему наследию.вот и результат - всплывают такие изумительные экземпляры антиквариата что просто дух перехватывает ... к сожалению в России практически ничего подобного найти невозможно в разные эпохи и при разных правителях страны советской,все прежнее беспощадно уничтожалось,не ценилось.мебель жгли что бы согреться,полотна известных живописцев меняли на хлеб что бы прокормиться ... результат если что и осталось то только в музеях. Замечательная программа всегда с удовольствием и удивлением смотрю на Ваши поиски сокровищ.как здорово что Вы постоянно что то находите и сохраняете - предлогая любителям и коллекционерам,тем самым сохраняете историю страны !
Перед этими странами не стоял вопрос выживания. На их территории никогда не было такой опустошительной войны, когда большинство городов европейской части России превратились в руины. Я из Питера. Когда-то у моих предков было много красивых вещей, даже в советское время их "беспощадно не уничтожили" и таких семей было немало. Но во время блокады Ленинграда, все, что имело ценность меняли на еду, а красивая мебель стала обычным топливом, согревая в трескучие морозы. Пережив блокаду моя бабушка спокойно относилась к вещем, но хлеб никогда не выбрасывала.

T should have been more well groomed when going into private homes ,… his appearance was questionable …. Looked homeless ! Now he looks more appealing and becoming !!!
