    Lovely timbo, I can see how any stone culture would have used these tools to butcher large game or especially process hides. They must have been essential and I'm not surprised they were so highly valued!

    I made one ulu in one hit for stone age stone " sädekiviliuske " in 25 ears ago when I am working in Saarijärven Stone age villages .

      Just Googled the village, looks fascinating, must have been great working there. I'll have a closer look later.
