This was very true in the Midwest. I remember when kids started wearing skinny jeans in 2010, during my 8th grade year. I was still wearing Makaveli Branded jeans (remember that?) and Southpole jeans at that time.

I remember seeing a RUclipsr a few years ago talking about fast fashion brands going overboard and making jeans with zippers moto patterns rips and stripes all on one pair😂
The slightly flared pants you showed towards the end look so cool It's like a little wider boot cut but not the crazy 70's look which I really don't like
Been wearing skinny jeans since 2012 and I really don't wear jeans at all now. Been about two years. Seen a couple pairs of interest lately (Certain D-02, Undercover '85, A.P.C., Levi's 501) which I'm seeking, but yes, I've felt that people just want to do what they see on others *cough* Travis *cough*. My issue is that all these archive pages and celebrities whatnot are making it so hard to find the things which I truly want because they artificially inflate demand so much. Some examples (sorry if all aren't denim): AJ1s post Last Dance (ESP. 85s - Chicagos and Neutral Greys) Chrome Hearts *in general* Raf and Rick *in general* (ahhhh remember being able to find decent Ramones for less than $500?) Levi's 501s in these vintage shops and pages are bought for like $20 and then re-sold for $50+
