O me! O my! How I loved all this Doo wop songs. Great artists do their things ~ Great music. Millions thanks for sharing. I’m grateful for. 🙂Have a great day, everyone.
I was born in 1941 this is the music I grew up dancing to in high school.this is real music.nothing compares to it now days .the so called music now days really is disappointing compared to then.
Born In 1961, but I had an older brother and two older sisters who introduced me to this beautiful music. Still think I was born a little late in time.
I was born in 1944. Loved this music as a young teen. My Mother let us listen to it even though she loved country music. Said she couldn’t understand the words of the rock and roll songs .
Love this. The best of Doo wop. Would love to go back to these days of music. We were so blessed to be raised in this time of music. Glad we can still listen to it. Thanks for sharing. 🩰🎶😊
I'm I'm 65 now iLearn resonated when I was seven 6😂 7 years old I'll still at the age of 65 I'm still listening to it it's hard to beat Fats Domino The Pretenders the ink spots Jimmy vallance Dean Martin Satchmo the big bands back in the day as Louis Armstrong. That was music❤❤😊😊😊😊😊
I would love to have a person to share this! It was a beautiful time and there is nothing like it today, not even close. There may be millions$ in glitz, but all of it can't hold a candle to these entertainers.
TJL production I LOVE YOU!!! THANK YOU. U HAVE a great ability to get all of these Great singers/musicians/back up singers to perform n omgawd they are all still Fabulous 😍🤩❤ I love them All. ❤😜
Growing up in Philly in the late 50's and into the '60s, we didn't realize how good we had it, music wise. Listening to WFIL and WIBG (Wibbage), it was one good song after another. And, if you didn't't like the song that was currently playing, there was a great chance you would like the next one. And disc jockeys like Jerry Blast and Harvey Holaday made sure we heard the songs of groups like the one in this video. Great, great times
This bring back so many memories & thank you all & thank God for all the great music!!! Many people didn't have much but we had lots of Love!!!! I would give up everything I have for those great days again, may God Bless us all !!!!!!!!!!
Born 1944 still think this music beats all the years after..the songs the dances..even if your home life wasn't the best the music helped us survive and have a song in our hearts to make it all better.. thank you TJ! Love you for keeping the music alive!
10:44lm 81 this year an l still have the record's from a other world we used dance to let many l wish l was 16 for a day but aren't memorable things great keep enjoying it bless generations past
I’m 45. I’ve never heard DooWop live. I was born in another era. But fell in love the first moment I heard it. And I’m from Russia. Thank you for the possibility to watch such a wonderful concert!👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Watching 👀 and listening from Masterton New Zealand these were the great day's of music 🎶 and culture 👌 wish we could bring these day's back not just in our minds 🙂🙃🙂🙃
I'm only 51, but growing up my parents played oldies plus I was a kid who in 1970s was a product of Happy Days, Sha Na Na and Grease. This music is incredible and will always be my favorite
When I was younger I remember listening to this music when I was in school and I started singing along. I still enjoy it and I am 65 years old.keep it going
I agree I lost my husband but grew up in the 50s and 60s when music was so different . I miss having someone to dance with . Lost husband In 2006 and I miss dancing and hearing oldies
I was born in 1961 , but I always loved to watch old movies so I like bog band, swing , jazz blues, cajun, southern country, soythern rock bluegrass, folk , 40"s 50's, 60'x,disco, p0p mußoç I cant handle opera , or classical music. I dont have amything aganit it allot of people like those two kinds of music just not me.😂😂😂
possibly the nthe best chapter in music EVER!! I tried a doo wop band as the Bass man my god it was hard work but possibly my most favorite exprience ever
1/14/24 I was born in 1954 & was literally RAISED on this music. ❤❤ At 4 or 5 I was given a transistor radio & a phonograph player. When my parents dragged me along to some boring adult thing where there were no other kids, I would always bring my radio or player & my "stax of wax" 45s w/me. Im from LA so the tops for me were #KRLA & #KFWB. I loved all the "oldies" & Doo Wop live requests & dedications that would go out over the AM airwaves. I've been hooked on most branches of Rock n Roll since 1954 - we were, after all, born the same year. 😄 Although I became both a Hippie & a certified "head banger" in 1967, Doo wop & Motown have always had a special place in my heart. At almost 70 😢 now Im still a hardcore headbanger from Jimi to Eric to Foo Fighters to Rage Against The Machine. Favorite band till I die: "my boys," ❤ The Stones. ❤ If it wasn't for Doo Wop - there would be no Stones or Beatles, etc. Doo Wop brings back SO many happy memories & of a time of great hope & great social change that, IMO, doesn't exist anymore. I cry a lot - sad & happy - when i hear these treasured songs bc so many ppl I shared them with have long passed on or "arent here" - especially my 2 cousins. One has passed, & one, at 84, has had dementia since 2023. But ... *THIS* music - *DO WOP* - this is what brings me full circle & brings me home. My all-time favorite & also the Southrn CA lowrider's anthem: *In The Still Of The Night.* My favorite singers: The Ice Man (Jery Butler) & Dion. ~°~°~° Happy memories to all born before 1958 & to any of you newbies born 1958 or later - welcome & enjoy! This is what REAL music, what QUALITY music, sounds like! #DOOWOP #JerryButler #Dion #DionAndTheBelmonts #RollingStones #Beatles #Motown

It is a real complement to the group to see the band members sitting back and admiring the Marcels.
