and they also gave it the 2 types that were once, in their own time, considered the most horrifyingly powerful types in the game, types so powerful that new types needed to be created just to contain them (Dark and Steel for Psychic, Fairy for Dragon. And even then, it took until Generation 4 for Psychic to truly be dethroned)

Sombra Lol, this was the easiest battle ever, I just sent out zoroark and stupid AI kept using the psychic attack. I defeated it on my first try without even getting damage
Necrozma has come so far... it started as a post-game pokemon that had a somewhat connection with the ultra beasts. Look at him now, the main pokemon of USUM, with 3 new forms, one of them being god-like, two of the best themes i've heard and a powerful z-move. He was my favourite in SM and i'm so glad he got what he deserved.
well, Arceus is the god in a Universe, technically. Necrozma is in a sense, a God in a Multiverse. of course, this can also raise the question if there are really more than one Arceus since he is the one that creates one universe, but there can be other realities where he creates the universe differently.
Necrozma wrecked my whole team until incineroar was left, then a miracle happened, it left me with 1 hp and then I used malicious moonsault on it and got a critical hit! When you believe in your Pokemon there's nothing that you can't beat.

The top of Megalo Tower is by far my favourite battlefield in any 3D Pokémon game, surpassing my previous favourite being Outside Kaminko's manor in XD.

Even though Necrozma is a wild pokemon, it is probably the first wild pokemon to use "Smart" AI like trainer pokemon. Unlike every other wild pokemon who pick moves at random to use against you, Necrozma uses only the most effective ones. I only made it through because of my Umbreon. One sand attack, then spammed heals and attacked every miss.a
Yep, it uses Smart AI to dish out the most pain. The problem is, it does too well of a job and it doesn't account for Zoroark's illusion ability, which it'll be stuck on spamming it's uber psychic move despite nothing happening. I discovered that accidentally and cheated myself out of this slaughter!
If you have decidueye, just put in the last slot and put a zoroark with illusion ability in the first lock, to let necrozma use photon geyser which doesn't affect zoroark, that's how I beat it in 3 turns
I wonderlocked it and it completely destroyed me until I got to my krookodile lv 79 and it managed to survive and crit it with a choice band outrage.he had about 50% due to toxic but this thing was a beast. I had to grab a whole set of new mons because this fucker said gg

It was an event exclusive which was BULL AND SHIT considering it's used by ingame trainers, isn't even a legendary, and the HGSS -> BW events were all really bad imo... I love BW but WHY
I love how Necrozma has moves to cover most of its weaknesses. Dragon Pulse and Photon Geyser have stab due to Necrozma being dragon/psychic, Power Gem covers a lot of good matchups, and Smart Strike (for some reason it has this) counters Fairy types. I learned that last one the hard way to say the least.

I do not know how it looks in japanese, but it's funny to see that in english Ultra-Necrozma is actually talking human language. Saying "light" with difficulty, showing how he's desperate and in pain. I really like the work they did with this legendary. It's even more awesome than the Delta Episode from ORAS. They really did something cool and explored an interessing path, instead of just showing "the world is in dangeeeer save the world and the other ones !". Here, yeah, you save the world. But, you also save Necrozma. After he lost his light, he cant even control it when he get it back, which is... well, pretty much sad. And dangerous for both the worlds and for him. Defeating him seems like to lift-up his spirit. And even more sad, you learn from Ultra-Recon Squad that he fled somewhere in Alola, in search of light in hope to heal his pain... and there you find him, kneeling on the floor near the top of Mount Lanakila, still in pain because of the lack of light, and probably due to the earlier fight. Even his fight animation is sad, because you see him, holding and hitting his own head. This legendary has a story, a tragic one. And there, you save it, you give him some hope. Some light.
Alunyan Nah , my character pretty much hates it for what it did to Nebby , and just leaves it there on Mt Lanakila since it can't do harm anymore That is , until she has no other option *cough*RainbowRocket*cough* (Haven't been there yet , can you exit the Castle?)

That was the most difficult pokemon battle I ever had. I didn't lose, but I barely managed to pull off a win. The Totem battles seemed much more difficult as well. Epic boss battle though
I went the entire game without using items in battle and without using pokerefresh because that's just how I wanted to play the game... I had no choice to use roto powers and x items to beat this thing. Absolutely crazy

My Experience with this fight last night *fight begins. I start out with my Incineroar with a dark z crystal* Me: Alright. This is what I kept you on the team for. Since the day I got you as a litten on gts at the beginning of my journey , so we can Kill necrozma! Go! BLACK HOLE ECLIPSE! *takes half of necrozmas health* *necrozma proceeds to one shot my Incineroar* Me: WHAT THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I LEFT YOU ON THE TEAM. *necrozma proceeds to kill off the rest of my team except my actual starter* Me:Please Primarina. One more shot and we can win *Primarina gets outsped* *necrozma uses photon geyser* I thought it was over, until I saw *Primarina toughed it out so you wouldn't be sad* Me:OMG PRIMARINA YES FINISH IT!!! *Primarina misses* *necrozma uses photon geyser again* *Primarina toughed it out so you wouldn't be sad* Me:OMG WHAT YOU JUST TOOK 2 PHOTON GEYSERS AND LIVED YEEES GO PRIMARINA!!! *Primarina used moonblast! CRITICAL HIT! NECROZMA FAINTED!* That night was magical
Decidueye at yellow, all my other mons had fainted. Luckily I was spared from Photon Geyser and it went for Smart Strike, My starter ended it with Sinister Arrow Raid. Best moment of my playthrough
So...feel free to tell me I'm totally wrong, this is just my opinion, but did this boss give anyone else Final Fantasy vibes? The music sounds almost similar to some boss themes in that series, plus it's a huge double-winged ultra super monster that's threatening the world and all... That just made me love this fight even more, though.
For the first time in my childhood life...I felt virtual fear. Fear of a fictional being...in which I could only see at my fingertips. This was the first time where the game gave me something to actually be serious with. Ultra Necrozma is a force to reckon with...I want him back.
This is by far the hardest fight in any Pokémon game (outside of battle facilities, but y'know). This monster wiped me out the first time, so I had to get strategic. I had to PP stall its Photon Geyser by switching into Incineroar multiple times, and once I got that out of the way, Wishiwashi could survive its other attacks, so I had it use Tearful Look to cripple its offenses. That's when I could finally start fighting this beast. When you don't have anything like Zoroark to cheese this fight, it's an absolute nightmare. Good luck to anyone Nuzlocking this game - you'll need it.
What I really liked about ultra necrozma is that he’s this huge big bad legendary, and you don’t need to catch him so there’s no need to hold back. In my opinion he was really hard to defeat. He destroyed all my team in a matter of up to 3 turns at most. I couldn’t beat him until I sent in my Golisopod, which beat him with first impression. (Plus, the type advantage of Bug over Psychic.)
Well in my fight i experimenced a weird thing ... if you use a zoroark disguised as an fighting type (in my case hawlucha) the ai will kinda bug and necrozma will spam photon geyser

I sent my mimikyu out, and it used smart strike which doesn’t bypass the ability. That let me get a lucky crit and finish it off.

I used Zoroark to beat it and expected at least a little resistance but I got an OHKO
it stopped being rare at Gen VI and even then its not particularly tough. Its good for messing with people but that's kind've it.

My Experience with this fight last night
*fight begins. I start out with my Incineroar with a dark z crystal*

*takes half of necrozmas health*
*necrozma proceeds to one shot my Incineroar*
Me: WHAT THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON I LEFT YOU ON THE TEAM.
*necrozma proceeds to kill off the rest of my team except my actual starter*
Me:Please Primarina. One more shot and we can win
*Primarina gets outsped*
*necrozma uses photon geyser*

Decidueye at yellow, all my other mons had fainted. Luckily I was spared from Photon Geyser and it went for Smart Strike, My starter ended it with Sinister Arrow Raid. Best moment of my playthrough
Everyone is a good trainer, but to those who ignores the NPC trainers and only grind from wild pokemon, all I'm gonna say is good luck to you.

Level 60...hell nope, I'm toxic stalling which I didn't want to do, you overleveled overpowered monster!

Took me a Zoroark and a pokémon weak to psychic attacks in the last slot
Z moved a lvl 65 garchomp's dragon rush. worked like a charm xD
I mean I just beaten it by just spamming shadow claw with my Decidueye
beat it on my second with alolan muk and all my pokemon maxed hearts
It took me 1 trie with 2 Restore All
Let's face it, Affection went a long way.
It's one of the most painful events I've ever had.

So...feel free to tell me I'm totally wrong, this is just my opinion, but did this boss give anyone else Final Fantasy vibes? The music sounds almost similar to some boss themes in that series, plus it's a huge double-winged ultra super monster that's threatening the world and all...
That just made me love this fight even more, though.

For the first time in my childhood life...I felt virtual fear. Fear of a fictional being...in which I could only see at my fingertips. This was the first time where the game gave me something to actually be serious with.
Ultra Necrozma is a force to reckon with...I want him back.
I finished this game in 3 days... I'm now going through wormholes and shiny hunting a disk lycanroc

I traded my Rayquaza from sun to beat this monster. Holy crap

This is by far the hardest fight in any Pokémon game (outside of battle facilities, but y'know). This monster wiped me out the first time, so I had to get strategic. I had to PP stall its Photon Geyser by switching into Incineroar multiple times, and once I got that out of the way, Wishiwashi could survive its other attacks, so I had it use Tearful Look to cripple its offenses. That's when I could finally start fighting this beast.
When you don't have anything like Zoroark to cheese this fight, it's an absolute nightmare. Good luck to anyone Nuzlocking this game - you'll need it.

Necrozma's like it will end in 6 turns...
What I really liked about ultra necrozma is that he’s this huge big bad legendary, and you don’t need to catch him so there’s no need to hold back. In my opinion he was really hard to defeat. He destroyed all my team in a matter of up to 3 turns at most. I couldn’t beat him until I sent in my Golisopod, which beat him with first impression. (Plus, the type advantage of Bug over Psychic.)

Well in my fight i experimenced a weird thing ... if you use a zoroark disguised as an fighting type (in my case hawlucha) the ai will kinda bug and necrozma will spam photon geyser

I will admit, my lowest level pokemon I had going into this battle was 54 while my highest was 57 and this battle still gave me a bit of a hard time.
