Yes you're right Professor Vaknin. Once writers, inventors, poets, scientists, artists, ntellectuals and others who made a great impact or made valuable contributions to the world were prized in our society. Now it's reality TV "stars", social media influencers, pop stars, actors, models n glamourised business people are revered. Dumbing down is now valued. You could go on reality tv n be like Kim Kardashian n make your name by releasing a sex tape and make millions and become literally an overnight sensation. Really sad state of affairs.

I've seen infantile cartoon parenting, create pinkie & the brain watching types of bullies....who take unnecessary risks while delusionally wanting to conquer the world, but end up flat on their faces ..the thud can be heard miles away in distant galaxies.
