  • This video is for all the people out there who are wondering if they should have the surgery or not. In this video Im talking about pain/life before the surgery, and after. Before the surgery I was only living/holding on for my son, now I also live for myself and my dreams. Allowing myself to have dreams is a big different from before. Still, Im living on bought time and tomorrow it can all be over! Meaning I greatly appreciate the small things in life and the fact that I made it this far! :)
My surgeon was Dr. Gilete in Barcelona. Feel free to follow me on Instagram: Mia-MarlenaQueen. Good luck with your health and possible surgery!

Thank you so much for this video! I loved what you said at the end about what your job is. I am going to keep that and remember that for myself. I need to do better at remembering the importance of that job.

Good video. I didn't watch all parts, as it is quite long, but you touched on some important points. Neck pain can be very difficult to solve and I agree that you should try to rehabilitate your neck before resorting to surgery. Your SCM muscles look quite strong now! Glad the surgery worked out for you and that you got your life back.

Thanks :) Yes, this muscle is always showing up. Don’t know way, but if it’s because it strong, then it’s okey 😂🤷‍♀️

@@mia-marlena6358 Yes, because your posterior neck muscles cannot move as much, these are taking over to stabilize. I think it is a good sign. When I had my neck fusion surgery, I had to do exercises to strengthen these muscles. When you engage the neck muscles, you protect the disks from too much stress.

Hi Mia-Marlena. There is a neurology physio in Norway, I just learned about. It is called MSK Neurology and the guy has a YT channel with some neck exercises. If anyone has some neck troubles, I think this is a good resource to consider as I see some of the same neck exercises I do (I have no connection with the clinic).
