My love for Melb Bounce came from Will Sparks! Absolute Legend. Met him back in Bathurst NSW when he did he a show at The Eddy after 'Ah Yeah' had blown up. I ended up writing a bounce bootleg for Spiderbait's Black Betty in 2014 which is on the SwaySounnds RUclips channel which now has 34 million plays on it. I miss the Melb Bounce sound so much, this interview wants me to get back to writing some!

I remember listening to my first tfu song when I was like 12 from a cd that my cousins gave to me, lollipop tfu remix changed my whole perspective on music and made me love the genre before Melbourne song forum and Soundcloud

Was lovely to see Will mention jordybear and give him his flowers. For years us older boys thought he forgot that part of his journey but the way he reminisced the story is still as clear as I remember it and made me smile and think back to the early days of us all together
I was there for his first gig at sinbar there was about 30 people total and remember that night like it happened yesterday including the kick ons in the underground car park when the night was finished. The red $20 and blue $10 story is true as Jordyballz as we called him was stoked that will played for the opening night of Level Up and I remember seeing him handing will the cash
The boys knew he was something special and that he would get far from the get go after he played us his mixes ( Charlie sheen ) at a few of our mutual friends house parties in the south east
I was best mates with jordybear we were in the year above will and we knew will and his mates from camberwell highschool and Caulfield
Always kept tabs on will and his journey. He did us camby boys proud and will always cherish the memories of us all growing up together and his rise to the top

Wes Petit came in after me the event I ran there at Sinbar was called Level UP as it was a struggle to get off the ground I had to tell the Koreans let someone else give it a go before you close down for renovations
