I love him and his music. He is truly so talented and so connected to the divine to share his craft the way he does. I saw him for the first time in Athens a few months ago and for me house music (specific genres and types) take me on a spiritual journey but his live set was something else. From the music he plays and mixes, to the different dimensions of sounds, to the sounds he integrates, to the visuals, to his level of detail, to his tuned in focus when he plays it was really something else. Him saying him sharing his music is a way of healing people as it healed him, this is so evident in what he shares. He truly deserves all of the success ❤
He recently came to Australia and sold out so fast but cannot wait to see him play again.

I simply cannot explain my pride and joy when I heard Steven at 42:20 say the Eastern cape. Representation absolutely matters, representation at this level snuffs out all the air out of your excuses, true and valid as they may be. The seat at the extraordinary table is occupied by the same guy essentially but to know that one of your own is just as capable to confidently hold their own there, lands very differently! Steven in as far as the South African market of this podcast is concerned, you have outdone yourself with this one mate. You introduced us to one of our own😭

Nathi!! Thank you for sharing. I will be showing this interview to my 10 year old this afternoon. She is currently dealing with arthritis in her left knee, recently diagnosed. And for her as an incredibly active and sporty child this is a very challenging time. Strangely enough she is very talented musically, she does the recorder and the piano and I do think she is going to find some solace in the world of music as we navigate this situation. You, simply sharing your story, will make a difference in someone's world. Much love from South Africa. Thank you for just being you.

Honoured to be interviewed by the BBC for my passion for SA House Music, with special mentions to Black Coffee and his collaboration with fellow Londoner Nathan Adams.

I love how "himself" he is. Seems very grounded and has a good understanding of himself and what kind of life he wants.

Truly an amazing inspiration and he always knows how to create an amazing energy and vibe. What a gifted person. To be honest, I've seen tones of sets of Black Coffee, but I never noticed his arm. I was in absolute gaze of the energy and the crowd control.

Firstly, this is by far my personal favourite podcast, sorry MacG😁.I think someone mentioned how we've never heard about Black Coffee's life changing experience but somehow you got him to open up about that, think your interview skills are superb and that's my favourite thing about this podcast, the guests are always so raw . Secondly, very proud to see a South African on your podcast☺

At the moment while I still going through listening to this podcast, I just think of how much pain we go through in this life, just the act and the type as well as the massiveness of the impact are different, but the sorrow is digging deep inside.
