Saw these dudes open for Microwave in Dallas recently, been listening ever since. Talked to Blake(drummer) after the show for a bit, very cool and down to earth. Also he made feel like what I said to him was special or important and I'm sure he hears the same shit every show but I did appreciate the convo. Keep killing it gentlemen.
I'm always elated to see/hear a bass player who takes full advantage of the range of the instrument. I'm picking up this band, it's totally because of the Bass player's playing and tone. I LAVIT!
I've been listening to between the buried and me and wanted to expand my catalog. This is one that just made me feel the music in my soul. Great band....
I've probably watched this 100 times. These guys are absolutely machines! If you haven't seen them live you HAVE TO GO SEE THEM. Awesome guys, incredible show, just absolutely unbelievable in every aspect.
I have been listening to Delta Sleep a little on Spotify, but watching this now, I've gained a real appreciation for their skill and talent. Solid work.
No one: Everyone: drums and bass are amazing. Me: What about that amazing voice and those lyrics? Seriously, guys, "Camp Adventure" lyrics are both heartbreaking and beautiful.
@@clmhellraiser I mean it as that and also as it's a song thats been released so many times. I had their discography in repeat and 3 different versions of the song came up lol I looooove camp adventure. This was just a funny gamer joke 🖤🖤

5:30 was literally SO TIGHT. that time precision was so perfect like I bet if you look at the wave forms there's only one peak there lol holy fuck why is that so satisfying
free electron I don’t have a problem with it. Music that uses Music theory really makes the music 100x more beautiful at least to me. I started listening to mathcore metal (car bomb, meshuggah) and made my way to mathrock and it’s just as amazing.
I am swooning over Delta Sleep!! I have had them on repeat - I can’t stop listening to them. I haven’t been this impressed or obsessed with a band in awhile! Please come to Oregon (preferably Eugene). 😉😄😍
tbf this version predates Management's acoustic cover, so i think it's actually gotten-- less mathier as they've recovered it. Management's version is my favorite but the original is still gold.
Great stuff! Not often do you hear a band in this style where the odd time signatures and chord progressions don't sound forced or overly complicated. On the contrary it adds to the feel of the music a lot, it drifts and meanders or drives the songs until it resolves in a huge satisfying way. Reminds me of earlier Mock Orange
This whole set is out of fucking control. I don't know what it is about Delta Sleep, but they are just so perfect. They're so cohesive, so much fun, emotional, just fucking incredible. Super great guys too. Ahhhhhhhhhh
This town needs guns is up there for me , its one thing to produce good math rock tunes , but be up there lyrically with amazing vocalists too? (old and new) I'm sold instantly
TheOtherSun plus Chon, Toe, Tricot, Lite, Elephant Gym, and Polyphia. They may not all be math rock specifically, but they're all amazing instrumental rock groups. But I do love Delta Sleep and Covet.
Man, I always forget how much I love this band. Once a year I get really into them and then forget completely about this band. So happy Audiotree did a session with them.
I saw these guys in Michigan a few weeks ago. Not only were they incredible (which I fully expected) but they were some of the coolest dudes. Especially Blake. I got to talk to him the longest, and as a drummer, I genuinely admire that guy and everything he does. I hope they make music together for a long time.
Was an absolute blessing to see these guys in Chicago and the crowd was amazing. So much love and it seemed as though the band really enjoyed themselves as well. Wonderful session, thanks!
@@jackvsc for sure!! I hadn't watched this video in a long time and I'm much more familiar with their discography now so I definitely noticed what you are referencing a whole lot more
This is by far the best video and audio quality I have seen of these guys live - THANK YOU! Needed this, they didn't make it out to Denver during their 1st US tour. Drums absolutely kill on this.
Delta Sleep rocks!!!! and such original content... what I love about them is they don't sound like anyone else

The melodies in the first track kinda remind me of sunny day real estate and the electronics remind me of HUM a little. But this is the first time I've heard this band. They're really good.
I truly love all of the flaws in this performance (you can really hear them in stereo headphones). Reminds me that they are in human meatsuits. I hope they keep making records for a long time.
Wow, I had no idea they were British, and Lake Sprinkle Sprankle was how I discovered them, so I'm glad it was on this set. They really need to end up in Colorado
So beautiful, I swear I wish I couldve seen you guys live. But when you did your America. You were on the other side of the country, and I dont have any money or means of getting there, considering I'm 15.... but when ghost city came out, I had every single song memorized that very night. It is my dream if you guys were to come back to America and tour California, or anywhere near there.... thank you for everything
this is such a great session! hadn't heard of them before this so thank you for the introduction. would love to see slow mass back on here though! i know they had the far out session, but some of the sounds off their newest record could translate super nicely on here
IDK what's better:
• Really digging a band, and later finding their audiotree session?
• or Discovering a band because of their audiotree session?
definitely the first one. but the latter isn't all bad. Both would be nice.
Both are rad. The second one happens to me more often though haha
@@laketownmusic audiotree's selections are better than the algorithm!
To me happens the same with Tiny Desk Concerts (specifically with not well known artists).
first one: Turnover, Delta Sleep
second one: Tricot
this fella has one of the best bass tones that i've ever heard.
i thought the same thing
You gotta thumbs up before I heard it or could agree. The thumb is for acknowledging bass tone period*
Haven't even heard it yet and I'm excited!
Great mixing all around, great live session.

Wearing a sick ass shirt too.
Lake Sprinkle Sprankle sucks the soul out my heart every time I listen to it. I just can't express how it makes me feel.
You did a pretty good job, amazing song.

That song came on Spotify after a Polyphia album and got me hooked; going to go see them in March now.
