listening to them like this... it wouldn't sound too far out of place on some jazz radio station. that bit where they play experimental/underground stuff for an hour... just beautiful and the best part about jazz radio. these videos are also an absolute credit to the drummer for being able to play these songs on such a basic kit. I know many drummers who can't play properly if the tom is half a centimeter out of place, but this guy just kills it here.
Lol, that was my friends and me that drove from florida to columbus! And we stayed in the same hotel as the band!! Yeah, they're super chill. That was a good weekend.
I love this. The drumming was the highlight imo, and I'm not a drummer, so that says a lot I think. The restraint needed for the last song was pretty interesting too. Really never expected that to be a dialed-back song
Got to see these guys in Sacramento, and they were amazing. The set was kinda a disaster for Blake and Glenn, but they still killed it. Got to hang with them after the show, and they are such great guys. They were easily the best show I saw all year, and I've seen some stadium selling bands this year. Love these guys and can't wait for what they do next.
I am barely the first to say this but... mad props to the drummer! Every musician in the band is great and the set was fantastic but the sense of timing and overall elegance of the drumming is insane.
Is this a Merry Christ-mas Concert with the Ho,Ho,Ho.....listening now. Will save the mystery for myself for now. Thanks Paste Magazine & Delta Sleep. Awake & Ready.
Honestly the Spy Turtle intro gets me every time. I know in the album it leads perfectly into Spy Dolphin, but this shortened and slightly edited version here is so damn good. I hope they do another project like Soft Sounds and include Spy Dolphin with the Spy Turtle intro like the version here. I’d love that.
Genuinely one of the best bands I ever discovered. They deserve to be more well known & recognised
For sure, do you have similar recommendations?

They should do a whole album like this! Love them with this laid back sound.
They did! Check out Soft Sounds.
With cymbals or without them Blake sounds really good, a perfect groove!
Appreciation for the audio engineer 👊

Recording live, this band is just so awesome. Cant wait to see them in April.

I would sell my soul for a tour with this set style. Chills throughout this whole set
I love how Glen breaks out the glittery delay for the intro to camp. It’s a lot more interesting and I like it a lot more than the studio recording.

What genre is this? Mathrock? So cool
Devins vocals on dotwork sound better on here than the real song 🔥
So at 9:50 they said they were playing Spy Dolphin, but I'm pretty sure that this first part is actually Spy Turtle.. sneaky you guys! ;)

24:55 your attempt at Tyson Mason's TRON/"Through Being Nice" voice is not very good.. let the OGs do what they do best.
I almost believed they were plugged in.
