Wait, so you are telling me the guns used by terminators seen on the beginning of Terminator 2 with magazine on the very end of the gun's stock are not a complete nonsense? Splendid.
Imagine if you are Soviet conscripts guy trying to clearing the jammed cartridge or just trying to regularly cleaning/maintenance work every couple or days during combat. it could be absolutely nightmare
Trying to unjam this in the middle of a fight is a nightmare. That long-ass ejection port is just asking for an FTE. Meanwhile you have the AK platform, where if it jams, all you need to do 99% of the time is pull the charging handle. If its anything more complicated, disassembly and reassembly is incredibly easy since its just 3 huge parts.
The way the bolt carrier telescopes the barrel is amazing.
"How much bakelite do you want to use?"
"Yes."

Only if it's in the 40 watt range
In theory you could put all your firearm components in the buttstock, the result being probably a pistol.
That design is reused in FN F2000, it is also bullpup and eject spent cartridges above the gun barrel.
its a complicated piecfe of work, but i loike it!
I'm not an engineer, but I see some things that could potentially be simplified.
The only gun to be more reliable than a Kalashnikov, beautiful...
why didnt come out ? cause ugly ?
Also really complicated
Jamming would be painfully annoying
