When I first bought a noctua cooler 10 years ago I hated those brown and beige. Bought it just for the quality. Now over the years, it's looking more and more awesome to me.. That color combo really aged well for noctua.
I believe that beauty/attractiveness is not something inherit. It depends on what you know about the thing you are looking at. And I think things look good when you think they are good, based on what you are seeing. Like functionally. For example, if you think a Ferrari looks good, It's largely based on the fact that you know it's a good car. In other words, the essence comes first and then it shapes peoples perception of it's beauty. The same thing with people. If you think somebody is attractive, it's because you think they are healthy looking. At least subconsciously. In both cases, a lot can be influenced by misconceptions.
The wonderful part of making something intentionally old-feeling is that it will always feel old. If something is made to be contemporary, it will age and opinions on it will change. If something is *always* old, then the design won't really "age". If it looked like it was from the 80's then, it looks like it's from the 80's now. It's why picking a style, rather than just "being modern" tends to work well.
@@iCosmictube не согласен . такая башня не требует обслуживания а вентиляторы очень тихие и надежные. если ставить такой охлад он отлично справится со своей задачей
Love it, not only for the Noctua theme but also because it’s a neat build, and the finished system does not look like an electronic clown car with pointless glass side panels and rainbow pride RGB bling.
Thinking of doing something similar with a black case, nice to see a good build that isn't RBG'd out the wazoo. Those cables really work in that build.
RTX 3000 series are extremely sensitive to warping PCB and because of that the GDDR memory going fail after some use. I suggest anyone with any 3000 series especially with heavy heatsink and fans use brackets or risers to support that heavy weight and avoid any PCB warping.
Anyway those cards are going to fail. The design itself is too risky. Too much power to handle in a small area. Lead free solder and thermal cycling. It's time cases are redesigned to have the video cards always mounted vertically with the risers/adapters and rear cut outs readymade in the case. Also they need fresh ventilation to pull the air from the side panels.
I'll admit I was a hater of the Noctua color way. Only after becoming a sneakerhead & buying a pair of Travis Scott Mocha 1's is it now my favorite colorway. This build is a perfect Travis Scott theme. Just needs the Cactus Jack stickers. 😜
Very nice and clean looking build, but the standard fans in the fronts are destroying everything after you put the work in the cable detail. And why putting these sticker on the nvme there is a thermal pad on the top of the heatspreader.
Unlike other cases, the Torrent rear side has an open grill and the entire rear side acts as an exhaust. Adding the rear fan to the torrent didn't improve temperature while two front 180mm fans are blowing massive air toward the back.
Another satisfying build. I'm expecting that you'll power it on, just to see those chonky fans circling. All the best for your upcoming pc build, sir technician.
Glad to see u use the meg since this the one im getting for my new i9 build aswell. What kind of ram can u recommend for this mobo? I with thinking about 4x 8gb vengance pro "3600"
Make sure you get RAM that is compatible with your motherboard! The Meg board featured in this video is DDR5, and DDR4 would not fit in the motherboard. Although DDR4 Intel 12th gen motherboards exist, you wouldn't be able to get the full potential out of your CPU without DDR5.
@@raptor6832 theres a ddr4 meg version not the ace one tho. I read there can be issues without bios updates thats why i ask. Im not a fan of bios updates lol
I was shocked when my Fractal Design Torrent case arrived. That thing is huge! I suppose it’s a good thing as the NH-D15 probably wouldn’t fit in anything smaller. I just wasn’t ready for the size.
I really like this build. The Torrent was a good choice because it's all around good and conveniently hides the Noctua fans from being seen head on at the front intake. Original color Noctua fans don't look great through obstructed view (dust filters, case grills). The cable extensions look awesome too. The only downside in this case is that the Torrent doesn't support vertical GPU mounting and a big point of that card is the Noctua fans in the fan slots. The ASUS X noctua logo design done in the Noctua colors is sleek and classy though so still amounts to a pretty sweet build.
Most cases that already have vertical mounting options do them badly. Almost 100% the gpu is too close to the side panel. You always need to buy a seperate vertical mount if you want to do it properly

Going for this exact build tomorrow (except RAM and Storage), so glad I found your video, thanks a ton.
Nice to see Noctua's fans fitting somewhere... And man, did it fit nicely!
Noctua produces the best fans no other company could compete with. Airflow is always important to assure that the components don't overheat.
Noctua is king but there are companies that are competing just fine. Like BeQuiet.
phanteks T30 fans literally outperform them but ok
@radosaurus Wrong. There's plenty of noise normalized benchmarks out there and in pretty much all of them T30s outperform by quite a bit actually
