I don’t get OU fans overhyping what Hawkins did in garbage time. OU had 100yds going into the 4th qtr and the game was OVER! Once the game was done and dusted, Tenn kinda put it on cruise control defensively which lead to some mild success by Hawkins late. It’s the same with the OU defense. Heupel was content running the ball over an over into 7-9 man boxes even with the safeties flying downhill to play the run. He knew that was still an easy path to victory. If he wanted to open it up and hit OU through the air more it would have been an embarrassing score.
It's because Josh was still playing all defensive starters in the 4th qtr. Is your DL good? Yes. Is the rest of the defense any good? Meh. OU is a terrible offense right now. Pump the brakes a little bit. You will find out when you play Bama & Georgia if your ready for the spot light.

Arnold doesn’t perform under pressure…the two QB system doesn’t work. One will transfer after this season.. overall OU line must play better in the passing game to protect the QB and younger players needs to step up will all the injuries OU has on both sides of the ball… will it be enough against Auburn U..in my opinion it will be a dog fight but the advantage goes to the home team.

do you even watch the game? We OU has how many starting receivers remaining 1, and he is banged up. your analysis lacks research and understanding. I am hoping by next year we are more of a pro style or i formation with rollouts pitch option rpo on the rollout and cause the defense to be down by 1 man. The spread is too common defenses has caught up. and ol needs to go tpo cut blocking.
OU slaps war buzzards homie
Auburn couldn’t score in Freezes massage parlor.
Oklahoma defense will stop the auburn offense
Competely disagree with his sentiment. Its not perfect around arnold he might turn into a good qb but a true freshman came in and outplayed BOTH of the other 2 qbs for only playing 1 half of the game
Son, a HS QB could have come in and moved the ball against 4th string backups playing prevent defense lol. Arnold was going against TN's 1st string defense.. lol Trash time in that situation is very very deceiving. Hawkins showed some moxie at most but let's not get it twisted. He played against 4th string and walk-ons in garbage time. He never saw anything like what Arnold saw and your about to get a lesson and reality check when Hawkins sees the 1st string AU defense. lol
Against the second string TN defense, Hawkins went for 3 .. 3 and outs. lol And they never blitzed him once. Never brought more than 4.
@@gwhite7136 need to rewatch the second half, when Hawkins hit Pettaway for the big gain, tenn had atleast 8 starters on the field.
@@RichardCampbell-y7s Dude, even Kent State hit one or two long plays lol. This game was so over, we went into run clock conservative after we mercy FG'd you all from your own 18 instead of going for one yard and another score.. lol That's Heupel's love for OU. Nope, we have walk-ons and 3rd and 4th string in after the 2nd string had Hawkins go 3 ..3 and outs in his first 3 series..I know your pride would like to think those were our starters but some of these guys we haven't seen play since the Chattanooga and Kent State games.. lol Your clue also is we'd never use our starters in the last 4 mins of a game running prevent D, soft coverage on a bad field lol. Your team never scored anything against TN's starters and ran for almost nothing against them. That's just reality and something you should know before your freshman goes up against the starting unit of AU this weekend. Your going to notice him being sacked, intercepted and unable to do much. You won't know why because you think he went against TN's starters lol. Son, he didn't.. And AU won't be taking FG's from your 18 yard line in short yardage lol. Just making sure you understand what's about to happen to your freshman QB. lol
@@RichardCampbell-y7s We never, ever leave our starters in longer than maybe one or two serious to start the 3rd quarter in a game we already won and or are up by 3 scores.. Never and didn't in this game. Your field was a mess and since we weren't going to scheme anymore dynamics on offense, no reason to leave your starters in. No smart coach would. Not even OU would do that if you were as good as TN and up by that much.
Oklahoma's offense is so bad they will find a way to screw this up.
JA wasn’t making the right reads lol
Roll Sooners Roll
Auburn
The OU oline will not get any better and Coach V will hear it because he knew all fall his oli ne was getting whipped that has to change right away if Hawkins doesn't turn the ball over then Maybe OU has a good year
Easiest game on Auburn’s schedule
Sooners in denial. They should have stayed in the big 12. Oh wait they are to scared of Oklahoma st. Maybe they should go to the pac 4
@@DavidSmith-ou3slyou’ll see when you ply NC State. You’ll see when you play OU. You’ll see when you play Bama. You’ll see when you play Georgia. Just keep moving the goalposts and we will keep seeing.
You don’t know football at all so I would stop trying to convince people on the internet you do lmao.
Tenn was not running into 7-9 man boxes, lol. OU had 5-6 man boxes for the majority of the night. You can still score TDs while chewing up clock by the way, which Tenn didn't do. The fact that some Tenn fans take it as a slight when others say positive things about OU in that game shows how sensitive and insecure some of y'all really are.
Tenn didn’t let up ..they had to go to run game cause Ou DL was getting to Nico an if Ou got the 2 points conversion it’s one score
Game ..u don’t let up when it’s that close ..they were blitzing Hawkins harder than Arnold lol ..love how Tennessee say they let up cause they couldn’t beat Ou by 20 like they thought …Hawkins plays whole game an Ou has 3 missing WR this game is way different
Oklahoma is putting up atleast 35. Hawkins jr gonna show out.

Oklahoma is weak! Playing the get hurt card because they are weak! Welcome to the SEC.
Players was hurt before SEC play started. The SEC ain’t too tough for OU trust me.
@@TheOpinionSports prove it, btw that's the same for every team and injuries are unfortunately a part of the game but your boy's were faking bigtime and the whole world knows it now. Weak
@TheOpinionSports You can't have a bunch of injuries before your SEC schedule even starts or you're in trouble, because you're gonna lose players pretty much every week in the SEC. Yall with figure that out pretty quick. Even the weakest SEC teams will be fast and physical. If you ain't careful they'll put a loss on you
@@Tomcat7781 ok that has nothing to do with what I said.
@@TheOpinionSports You said players were hurt before SEC play started and that the SEC ain't too tough for OU. So you're saying OU couldn't even stay healthy playing out of conference games. If that's the case then they're not ready for a SEC schedule
OU 16 - AUB 13
Aub looks more physical than oklahoma
That’s a good prediction I agree as an auburn fan we aren’t very good at making plays but we are very physical on defense
Oklahoma fans are delusional, your guy racks up meaningless stats in garbage time and you all think he’s the answer. Your line is atrocious, your staff is clueless, and they don’t have the capability to fix it. Keep kidding yourself though.
Down 2 tds or less with 6 mins isnt garbage time. Also imagine of that TD didn't get called back. Or JA wasn't dumb and handed ball off on the 5 instead of qb keep.
Garbage time, but Tennessee was still playing all their defensive starters in the fourth quarter. Talk about delusional. Your QB coughed it up twice and was running for his life. that's why they went to the run game to eat the clock and take it out of his hands. get out of here with your nonsense.
@@Juan-gu1lf awwwwww,,did someone miss their "knee"time at the local gloryhole today?? I totally agree, our starting qb cost us that game,,AFTER the first 6,7 minutes. Our Defense was kicking Nicos ass, strip sacked him twice,,forced some overthrows,,and it sure was odd that Nico had 600 yds,12 tds 😂 against.???🤔,Kent State,,and besides the catch and run 66 yd TD,he only throws for 128?????? Hawkins starts that game,Our Defense and Ten. gets ass whipped! Coach Josh knew Sooners D was legit and didn't want his kid throwing all over the place. It was " look what Tenn has done in 3 games,,over 190 pts,,636 yds offense,,,Straight up,Jackson Arnold cost us and any body with a brain who knows common sense football (leaves you out) knows the truth in that!!
Face it, Tn saw no threat through the second quarter and beyond. Ran the ball to chew clock and end game early. Tn dialed back the defense to play prevent. Pretty obvious if Hawkins would have started the game he wouldn't have made it to halftime either. That Tn defense was out for blood and Ou offense is really inept. Ou stacked the box in the second half every play and Tn never changed plays! Straight up the middle every time bc no threat! Ou tds were gifts to make them believe they were better than they were.
Garbage time? You guys play your starters in garbage time? OU’s backup cooked your starting defense in this so called “garbage time”.
The game plan sucked because of how they chose to run the ball. Why would we continue to run up the middle. Our center is till hurt and hasn’t played, our line in general gets no push and Tennessee is strong up the middle
