I remember watching your interior cleaning of your old BMW E90 few years back. Glad to see the upgraded version 🔥🔥 One of the most helpful interior cleaning videos I've found on YT. Keep it up bro
BINGO! Simple, easy, fast, and most importantly, perfect results! I am definitely going to give this technique a try. I HATE doing windows, especially the interior.
I have an alcantara steering wheel on my RS5 and the Sonax cleaner is a God's sent! People are so scared of getting alcantara steering wheels thinking they will get so gross over time...well so does leather! Both require a bit of effort to stay looking and feeling good. Great video by the way! Really enjoy your content! 👍🏻
That’s very true! On my old car, I thought my leather steering wheel had become shiny from age and wear. Until the first time I cleaned it. Turned out that shine was just oil buildup 🤢
@@justinbuice same here. My old M340i leather wheel would get a tacky/sticky kind of feeling as well as shiny if I didn't keep up with cleaning it. My wife's leather wheel is even worse because she uses hand creams, sanitizer, etc etc. It's so satisfying to clean (although it gets dirty so soon after). Thank god she doesn't drive my car lol
Just 2 things to add. First is put a few big towels on the dash when cleaning the windscreen. Cleaning the dash later will be much easier with less soapy water dripping on it. Second is to always apply coating/protection on every surface that was cleaned with a cleaner so that your interior will be protected from UV, last longer, doesn't dry out and looks better
Or you just put the cleaner on your towel…. No need to wast 100 towels and waste time spreading it on the dqsh or waste soap on the fkn inside of the windshield😂
Thank you for showing us your cleaning techniques. I am meticulous like you when it comes to cleaning my car. I have a 2010 Corolla S which I bought new and it’s the family hauler as well. My friends can’t believe how pristine it still looks even though it’s a 12 yr old car. It goes to show that if you show some tender loving care for your vehicle, even a run-of-the-mill econo car can look good.
I can’t believe how nice it made the back window in the avenger look! You can’t even tell we had the dogs back there! The video came out great babe! Love how much attention to detail you put into it! Do my car next! ;p
Hey brother I hope you see this!!!! I used to have a mobile detail company and through the years I’ve decided the best method for cleaning a windshield (in my opinion) is one wet microfiber and one dry microfiber! Never leaves any streaks and is the fastest method with the best results
Thast the most used cleaning method for windows, it shouldn't have taken long to figure that one out lol. If you clean like this guy then its no wonder you don't do it anymore.
That was an interesting technique to clean the glass without streaks! I've tried a few methods to clean glass without streaks but they aren't as effective and efficient as using a squeegee. I would also recommend trying this wearing gloves as well because the oil from your bare hands can transfer onto the wet microfiber and then to the glass. That's why my glass always had that smear even when using a fresh towel. Excited to see how this will turn out on my car! Thanks for sharing!
I had never seen it done that way, but when you think about it, it makes a lot of sense. That’s essentially the way windshield wipers work, and that’s usually the cleanest part of the glass at any given time 😅
+1 for trying the window cleaning tip! 👍 Had quite good results with a synthetic chamois leather (about all it's good for!) For the alcantara wheel, once you've cleaned & dried it, a friend recommended dabbing it with strips of packing tape, to lift the grain, worked well.
Jus bought that Sonax Alcantara product and it’s brakkin! Respect Brody and super clean build, I’ve got an 15 f30 335i with coral red INT an it’s so worth it plus all the dry carbon/alcantara interior pieces! Keep going hard homie!!!
For the outside of your windshield, use #0000 steel wool (found in the hardware dept. at Walmart) I always start with this after washing and drying my car. Make sure your windshield is nice and smooth by running a microfiber cloth down it, it should just slide down. Next, use rain-x on the windshield and wipe/squeegee it clean. Rain will fly off your windshield and you won't have to use your wipers! I have been doing this for years and people look at me like I'm crazy when they see the steel wool lol. Just make sure it's #0000 and it won't leave any scratches! This method also removes near impossible things like bugs, tar, tree sap, etc.
Definitely going to try cleaning the windshield this way. I have 4 or 5 sprays and none of them work. I was close to your method but I sprayed the water and soap on to the windshield causing a mess the other day. Towel is the way to go next time.
Watching you clean the f30 interior was so satisfying and calming, and thank you for all the info and suggestions I will definitely apply some of them when I am cleaning my car! Professionalism by Justin like always🔥
@@the_batmobile0.4 I recommend using a steamer. If you don’t have one, id do a bucket of water with some towels to be safe. Make sure you also get an all purpose cleaner/degreaser and maybe a detail brush to get into small spaces.
Dude that was an awesome video! One super trick that I suggest trying for the perfect windshield, it takes a little bit of time though, but this is the closest to a perfect result I got. First get yourself a rayon lenzing fiber pad and after having cleaning it, buff the exterior with cerium oxide (I personally use an already blended solution like CarPro's CeriGlass). It will not just remove that nasty greasy road film but will also help to remove or minimize scratches and spots/specks. I usually polish for 20-30 minutes while lightly spraying deionized water to rehumidify the dried white surface between passes. Once the polishing is done power wash and clean again with your favorite shampoo (mine is the Mega Foam and the classic blue from Adam's), dry, and if you want to put a hydrophobic coating on it don't forget to do a final pass with a panel wipe (IPA) before applying and leveling. Once the exterior is done, for the interior part depending if it's been 1 or 2 months without cleaning, I use 2 to 3 passes of IPA and deionized water 1:1 to degrease and I finish with a glass cleaner such as Invisible Glass from Stoner and a proper glass towel such as Premium FTW from TRC. Give it a try you'll not be disappointed! Cheers and happy cleaning!!
Hi Justin thanks for your videos! I have a great, easy technique for windshield and windows that is bullet proof. After the car has been washed and you start drying the vehicle and assuming you are using the two towels method, I use both towels to clean the glass while I'm drying out the car. Later I come back to finish the windshield and windows using The Rag Company - Diamond Weave Glass & Window and invisible glass foam. I use I black and one blue towel. Blue first to remove the glass cleaner, and then black to finish. This is fast and always perfectly clean glass.
Thank you for showing us the easiest way to clean the interior windshield. You have potentially saved me lots of money, from not buying $100s in glass cleaners.
I was given a tip by a custom upholstery shop....forget leather cleaners as I was complaining that my M5 seats just didn't look that good. The simple solution was pure soap flakes (Lux Flakes here in Australia) a handful dissolved in a few litres in warm water then a soft scrubbing brush wiped clean with a damp cloth. I couldn't believe how much dirt was in the bucket given that I had used two proprietary leather cleaners before. Will be doing my 740li and I expect the same results.
Love your videos this is encouraging me to do interior detailing for my Audi A4 I just bought the dealer didn't a great job detailing it and since I have perforated leather seats it's hard to clean and remove the dirt in the pores.
To get perfect glass every time you have to use a clay bar. I know it sucks, but it's the contaminants that F it up. If you have a clay bar, use it on the windshield. You can use any product after that even if it's a paper towel and some knock off Windex from the 99cent store... It'll be perfect. I've been detailing for 23 years now, I know the pain of the glass for sure
