- Happy Sunday, #skyfam! Last week, I spent my Sunday packaging all your #skyfam merch orders with Scottie, hubs and some of our angels at home. I really wanted to do it myself because I wanted it to be special. It’s not just merch- but something that connects us together. I can’t believe we have this strong community filled with positivity, support and love. Truly felt so overwhelmed and humbled. I wish I could meet and hug and chat with each and every one of you! Thank you so much for being a part of our lives.
In this video, there are a lot of funny moments with the boys to end your weekend on a happy note! Scottie falling asleep in the car after lunch, or Tobi not knowing how to play soccer- and so many more. We ended with a nice surprise in the form of Yaya Jera’s visit. Truly happy to have her come back again and again to spend time with the kids.

I love how yaya jera is really a family now! Constant calls to scottie and always visits when she has the time. 😢
maybe the majority loved the barbie movie because some of us really did not grow up privileged, always experiencing problems especially as a woman like commuting or the traditional gender inequality in the workplace we arent always safe outside. and i personally appreciated all the man made designs in barbie land, it had a lot of closure, and a lot of comedy. but you do you i guess

I went to watch Barbie with zero expectations. I was aware of the hype and I always thought it’s because Barbie is part of everyone’s childhood and that’s why its popular. My officemate dragged me to watch coz I was stressed out w work w my misogynist boss and I needed a breather. I ended up liking it. Yhe first 15 mins of the film though was crucial for you to understand the movie. I guess movie appreciation is based on whatever stage in your life you are in at that time. There were also some movies were people say it’s so good and it didn’t leave an impact on ne .

I think there was a lot of hype behind the movie because a lot of us could relate to it. Coming from a working professional who works in a man-dominated industry and from a family who has always reminded me to be “lady-like” if I laughed a little too loud or if I was, in any way, animated with my reactions, I couldn’t help but resonate with the movie. I laughed, cried, shook and nodded my head to everything that was all too familiar and relatable. I guess it’s a good thing Kryz didn’t like it because it kind of means she was supported and/or privileged enough to do what she wants to do, and it’s something that is normal to her 🙂
yeahh. well, good for her at least. for the rest of us who aren't, thank goodness for this movie.

I think for the Barbie movie when you’re seen in real life you won’t relate to it as much but for us in the shadows depressed for no reason but have to hide it girlies it was like a knife in the gut specially America’s big dialogue about being a woman i was sobbing

I really LOVED Barbie, was able to watch it opening week, BUT tbh I don’t remembered much of what the story is I just know how in awe I was with the visuals! and majority of the audience was in the “Barbie Spirit” with their clothes and/or accessories, it was super cute 💞💖

I think the reason why Kryz didnt like the Barbie movie is because she already found her meaning in life and purpose. Unlike the Barbie is to show the midlife crisis and finding who you are and being enough as you are. 💗
I agree. I loved the movie because I can relate to it. I am in a stage in my life where I have no idea where I’m headmg and I just know im fed up w my current situation. It really depends on what stage you are in your life.

I personally loved the Barbie movie. I think the reason why you didn’t like it is because you are privileged enough to really experience the stuff that Barbie talked about in the movie. You weren’t relating to the movie so you though it was underwhelming and the fact that you watched reels and saw so many posts about it spoiled the movie for you and of course your husband will find not find it as interesting because he can’t relate to it at all. Many men don’t find it interesting so it wasn’t a surprise when you mentioned that he didn’t like it either. It’s okay tho everyone has their own opinion.
omg same thoughts too i also commented here with the same thought as yours, i really think it just boils down to one's privilege or if you are already contented with life bc if you really experienced or is still experiencing a lot of the struggles women go through anytime anywhere like what the barbie movie portrayed, you'd really appreciate the movie and not just quickly conclude that you dont like it at all :')

Actually, some of my Chinese local friends in Shanghai really wear their clothes twice or thrice before putting them to laundry. They believe that it retains the quality and fabric of the pieces when washed few times 😊

Yes! Liked the Barbie movie, but I would agree with you that if you've seen the reels etc. then it will have an impact on your opinion because the novelty is gone. The first fifteen minutes was also the hook so it's too bad you missed it! On a side note, the kiddos are extremely cute!

I agree with you. There are some good points about the barbie movie, it was funny, but definitely not as mindblowing and life-changing as most people perceive it to be. Some scenes were dragging as well, probably the reason why a friend of yours slept, and I can relate because my companion during the movie slept as well. 😆 It was fun though, I bet I would’ve enjoyed it more if I didn’t read the reviews that much. Lol.

I'm the same, if it's still clean and smells fresh then I would still wear it. I honestly started so young when I stopped caring of what others think of me, kahit na may katulong na maglalaba naman ng mga damit, I find it not only wasting my maid's time but also wasting water, money for laundry detergent and fabric conditioner. As long as my clothes and my hubby's clothes have passed the 'sniff test' then they're still ok to wear! hahaha
